I love GoT, but the problem is the show's first season was its best, and it has been playing catch up since. Season 4 was close to matching it, but the other three seasons have been disappointments imo.

Penny Dreadful and Fargo should have won their categories imo. The Americans would have been a close second to PD for me. How is Black Sails now? I watched the first season but found it weak and only watched an episode of season 2.

Damn I gotta finish The Americans. I got eight episodes into season one and it's great. One of the best pilots I've seen too.

I love it. The quality has been continuously great imo I have never been in love and hated a character as much as Elizabeth and I have so much man love for Philip.

That Affleck joke from Gervais and Damon's reaction was pretty awkward...yeesh. It's hard for me to watch when Gervais hosts sometimes, he's pretty ruthless. I know that's the whole point, but it makes me feel squirmy haha.

Breaking Bad...you must....watch...Breaking Bad...only then, a Jedi will you be.

Seriously though, you're in for a hell of a treat whenever you decide to buckle down. I'm frankly jealous that you still have the opportunity to get into it with a fresh perspective. Don't wait too much longer!

Yes.

Season 1 was so good. When I started watching it three months ago, I binged on it out of sheer excitement. Then as the show progressed, I watched it for the sake of catching up. Don't get me wrong. I am a big fan but I never watched with sheer excitement like I did with the first season, despite me already knowing that [blackout]Ned Stark died.[/blackout]

Oh yeah, and the highlight of the show for me was Stallone's standing ovation. That was great to watch. I hope he gets the Oscar.

Yeah Stallone winning was the highlight for me. Yeah it was a ****ing Golden Globe but seeing everyone give him a standing ovation with the Rocky theme got to me.
