The Dark Knight Got accepted to the Nolan screening, can ask 3 questions in advance,I hit a blank HELP

Very true. Seeing as there are planning for 100,000 viewers at this event , I'm sure many of our questions will be recycled at least twice :)

I'm calm as a hindu cow...but be realistic...do you think they're going to let through a question that basically says "we're not happy with the product you put out now and want something better"...I mean, don't get me wrong...I'm thinking the same thing...but I guarantee you it won't go through and don't want somebody wasting a question on it
think u are misintepreting the question. we just want to know if there will be more.

I get what you're saying, and I'm trying to give you a STUDIO point of view on that question (I work for one that I cannot name), and all I'm trying to say is that I'd be willing to bet they don't let that question through...that and a ton of other questions...I wouldn't be shocked if it's very cookie-cutter and most of you already know everything that gets asked

No one really payed attention to the email rules huh?

"Do not ask a question regarding batman 3. Mr. Nolan is here to discuss TDK. Anyone asking Batman 3 questions will be removed from the session."

U guys kill me sometimes.

Mr. Earle - it was just a little something I started doing a while back to distinguish myself from other posters. There was also another instance where someone was posting as Anjowl060 and posting false rumors and stuff. So I let my friends know that unless they got an e-mail or w/e from me with the "-Jow" at the end that it wasn't from me. And it kinda fell over into here.

And then other people started copying it. And I became a trendsetter. Now I just do it to boost my ego.

lol

PS: Plus it's a nice way in my head to sign off a post. As you know.......I'm kind of a big deal. :P
LOL. Good to know if i ever want to impersonate you. :hoboj:
as for one more question. i am liking this one If you could go back in time to production, would you change anything and why? unless someone can give me a beter question, then that will prolly be my 3rd.
Even if he would, i dont think he would admit it. Would anyone?
First one is good, but the second is a waste. On the first disc special features, Nolan mentions it was always his intention to wreck the Tumbler in Begins, but it almost felt like a whole other character in that, so he left it alone. Was therefore always on the cards to wreck in TDK.
Indeed the Tumber felt like a whole character in BB and destroying it would have been a bad choice. Why does every Batman movie have to destroy his vehicles anyway? The comics batman keeps his older cars in a museum in his cave.

Anyway, i hope we get a new car in the third. A car in the same fashion as the Tumbler, only better.

how's this question?

With all the stars/characters that were attached to this film, do you feel you gave the proper amount of screen time to each one especially Two Face?

Are you aware of the fluctuating sound levels, for example where gordon and ramirez are talking next to the batsignal after the prologue?

There's been a lot of debate and discussion so let's settle it, who were the five people that Dent killed?

still need a third

On the first, its the studio's fault and on the second, isnt it trivial? Did you guys really lose sleep over this?

not the studio's fault, it's the filmmakers responsibility to ensure everything is right before it gets shipped to theaters. there was a problem even in theaters. i saw it on three different screens and this problem was evident.

regarding two, there's two and a half hours of questions to ask. why not get the most out of it?

My theaters were just fine. The bootlegged that I uh....found on the street outside my house, was fine (the original telescine scan). It's just a problem with the post production distribution. That's NOT a film maker's responsibility, that is, in fact, the studio's.

I heard from an inside source's manicurist that Nolan is taking a block of time to discuss this issue and whether or not the Joker said 'six' or 'ten.'

:whatever:

Hmm i like the how many people did dent kill question..
but lets see, he killed wuertz, killed maroni and the driver.. also did he kill the other guy before maroni entered the car? he pulled him to the side, maybe snapped his neck? if so, thast 4 and maybe they are counting the black cop from the hospital that joker killed, so 5?

then come up with a better question. jerk-offs

Ok done, submitted the more extras question, production change question and screen time question..
im sure i can ask more qeustions on the day of the screening.thanks everyone for all the feedback.

I heard he was gonna devote that time to discussing whether Batman says "You're a loon or You're alone"

Q. Do you feel that your interpretation of Batman exists in his own little universe or do you think that he has the potential to broaden his scope for say a Justice League sort of thing?

Q. Batman has one rule that he does not kill. Considering the climax with Two-Face would you say that the Joker was right and Batman did break his one rule or Harvey was solely responsible for his own demise?

Was Heath the best actor you ever worked with?

I was invited. Here are my three questions:

1) What is your favorite scene from the movie?

2) Were there any sequences or ideas that you would have like to have shot but were otherwise unable to because of time/financial/etc limitations?

3) What prompted you to use IMAX cameras for the Dark Knight in particular?
:yay:

I would ask the following:

1.) Was there any talk of using the bleached skin appearance of the Joker, before settling on the grease make-up approach?

2.) Since almost everything in the Dark Knight was given a make-over visually (Wayne Tower, etc), does the Narrows still exist in this universe, opposed to the Batman Begins 'verse?

This Nolan screening is going to equal one big fail lol.

Out of all the questioners i've ever seen on the internet, whether it's an audio one or typed, the majority of people who get their questions picked to ask the celebrity are almost always the noobs with the redundant/******ed questions.

For those that made it on who actually have intelligent questions that don't involve a Batman 3 or something lame like if Joker said 6 or 10, please try to ask something that won't make this a waste of time.

I almost already feel sorry for Nolan because of some of the godawful questions he might get.

I'm curious as to the whereabouts of the extra/alternate takes used in the trailers, but I suppose he wouldn't give away information about a future DVD release.

It's nice to see they prepared by not allowing questions about the next movie.

What shots in Begins would he have liked to upgrade to IMAX, I dunno, I'm stumped.

My thoughts exactly. We're gonna get stupid questions.

I just really want someone to ask how he brainstorms. What routines does he have when he writes and creates? Does he listen to a certain type of music? Does he have any traditions? I wouldn't ask, but I'm interested if he kisses the Mary Jane? Not saying I go either way on that.....ok actually, I'm really kind of straight edge, but still. I'm just curious to know what makes a guy say "let's have a character carve smiles in their victims faces, blow up hospitals, etc etc."

What made you decide to go with full CGI for Two-Face?

Was the whole sonar thing motivated and inspired by your political views?

What brand of clothing do you wear? Particularly those blazers and waist coats.
