Seven hours of awesomeness is better than twelve hours of mediocratiy, so it's whatever. With GOW I play through multiple times cuz of the costumes anyways. The first one I could only use the Ares armor, because the others were just too nuts. I wanted to play as the Lawyer of War, but the briefcases has some collision issues with his back, so I didn't. GOWII I plan on playing as every skin, though. Does anyone know if you can actually start a new game with a secret costume but without any of your powers or upgrades? From what I saw that's impossible.
And also, please put a SPOILER tag when it comes to the story, but I'd love to hear a little bit about the "useful" new weapon.
P.S. Just reading some of the reviews, everyone say seven hours but this guy:
http://www.psxextreme.com/psp-reviews/124.html. He says twenty, so I guess he was a little high. This guy agrees with everyone(
http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3166395), but he has more of my viewpoint in that he says he's logged twenty-five hours, cuz he's beaten it on normal and god, and with a different costume. He maybe even beat the Challenge of Hades. From what I've read the Gauntlet of Zues(GoZ) is a great complement to the BoC, and I hope Santa Monica jacks it for GOWIII. It reminds me alot of Hellboy, but that's definitely a good thing. It's not like the Sword of Olympus was big on power, just stronger, and when powered up, way more range.
Oh, and one quick question: if the three weapons I managed made it in plus one I left out, what would you guys pick? I guess I'd have to say the Spear, because it was decent for crowd control.
