As someone who's a DC fan at heart, but has been totally sucked in by the MCU since GOTG ( I mean, since GOTG the worst film we have had has been Age of Ultron - which is not a bad film at all !) -2016-17 have been just amazing (I loved, loved, loved GOTG vol 2) well I can say just this.....I hope Marvel doesn't do anything with Goyer.
If it's any indication TDK, unquestionably WB/DC's greatest superhero film had very little Goyer input, and WW( , a close second (although I feel it's a bit overrated) had no Goyer input. Then you have Man of Steel (Goyer writing, and Nolan only producing) and then B v S, Goyer writing (and no Nolan) What does this tell us ? I submit that it tells us that if you want to make a film piss off fans and be almost joyless, get Goyer involved.
The MCU is enjoyable and engaging and bringing some difficult characters to life, you really don't want this guy anywhere near it.
But that's just me.
