With a lot of changes. I don't see much similar, this has sleeves, is darker, has black pants, no random straps or designs, no sunglasses. Did Smallville Ollie even have a quiver? It looks a lot closer to the Longbow Hunters suit than the Smallville one.

With a lot of changes. I don't see much similar, this has sleeves, is darker, has black pants, no random straps or designs, no sunglasses. Did Smallville Ollie even have a quiver? It looks a lot closer to the Longbow Hunters suit than the Smallville one.

The material and shade, it's pretty similar, perhaps reminiscent would have been better to say. And those are the most obvious features of the suit. I'm not saying it's bad by any stretch, just reminiscent.


And that's a good point about SV GA's quiver, he always just pulled arrows out of his arse.

Like the green suedey bits on the jacket. Bit of a shame it's basically a leather jacket, but then Cap's non-spandex like suit worked so well that this can be easily overlooked. The hood being a similar suede (by the looks of it anyway) is great because it'll give more movement with his head. Smallville's pvc/leather hood was a bit too fixed.

Little worried about the holster - I'm not expecting a gun of course, but I'd rather he didn't have mini crossbows. Could well turn out to be a couple of short escrima sticks, which is fine as some close combat weapons are no bad thing. Quiver looks to only hold about a dozen arrows, which for a character who you often wonder how he can shoot for so long in a fight without running out does make me think they should have gone with a much wider, slightly tilted quiver capable of holding several dozen, might have been a better idea. Maybe that's something he'll realise after a few times out on the street.

Hopefully we'll see those leather trousers actually going inside the boots to give us a slightly superhero look and ease off on the street clothes impression.

Oh, and absolutely loving the bare recurve!

Overall, bloody good! Need a full view released though

Having an Oscar-winning costume designer behind this was clearly a great asset for them. As opposed to WW last year, which probably was designed by, like, a costume shop employee.

Love the costume. Looks better than the Smallville one which looked like something you could get at Wal Mart around halloween time.

Yeah, I always thought SV's Green Arrow costume was a fairly good piece of work. Last year's WW, however, looked like a hooker's cosplay.

They said he would be but doesnt look like he is in the promo shot. Now they need to hurry up and get Katie in a Black Canary costume.

Costume is OK. As long as it's some shade of green and has a mask, it's hard to screw up. Now let's hope they actually teach Amell how to use a bow properly so he doesnt look like an amateur poser like Jeremy Renner does in The Avengers trailers.

Just saw costume image a few mins ago. Doesn't look to bad at all. Its green, he has hood, the bow. Looks enough green arrow to me and unique for itself.

Wasn't there mention of a mask that covered the lower half of his face? We could be looking at his eyes, brow and forehead being the only parts of his face we can see, rather than the comic version of the other way round
