I don't see how it would be that hard to pull off jay or alan. As I said as long as they leave door pen for meta/magic powers can be explained easy. And alan ya probably would have to change a bit. Jay probably just do jeans and bolt shirt. And maybe have a helmet for a scene or two or something.

As for justin hartley congratz to him getting a new show. I knew he still had a contract with cw. So hopefully the show of his turns out good.

People are of different opinions, but I think the show will benefit from having other DC heroes: Green Lantern, The Flash, Elongated Man and those alike, from the second season and forward.

How the characters will look, I am not sure. But they must make the costumes fit in with the tone of the show. I think that means more leather and armour, than cirkus suits and spandex.

Cosmic Green Lantern didn't work on film, even though it's the most known version of the character in the comic books. Maybe it's so, that the very first Green Lantern, the non-cosmic but magic one, the one who's named Alan Scott, is the one that actually WORKS in live action? Sounds weird, but we live in a strange world.

And this may be the ONLY chance for a non-animated Green Arrow and Green Lantern team-up, ever.

Totally i dont see any need to bring in any guest heroes within the first season. Make mentions or allued to certain guys do exist. So it gives them an easy way to bring them in. Really only person who should become a hero i say by end of season one is dinah. If they will make her become black canery. I said it before she could either have latent meta powers that doesnt show up to some crisis event, or she gets experimented on. And that is how she gets her powers.

With that when she discovers her powers. She decides to become a costume viliganite due to the good green arrow been doing to the city. And they could throw in the plotline she seeks justice on the criminals she tries to put away. But are getting out due to crooked cops or politicans and all that. And she is sick that is happening all the time. To me that is the most logical way for dinah to become black canery from what little we been told of dinah for the show so far.

Metahumans and advanced technology, maybe. But not right away, I'd say.

But magic? I seriously hope not. Smallville had the tone for it. Arrow seriously doesn't sound like the type of show Zatanna or Doctor Fate would show up.

well we dont really need to see a zatanna or doctor fate in the show to make magic a thing possible in the world. Really it would be silly to drop metas/aliens/magic in the world. There is plently of ways you can protray those things and still have a realistic/realism world.

It really depends on how it's depicted. They could leave it open to interpretation. Is it really magic or parlor tricks? Obviously, that's easier with some characters than others.

I don't see aliens as unrealistic per se.

Ya all they need to do is write it in approach that fits the world they build and make it possible for unexplainable things to happen in. Hell i would be pissed if they just make it real world. That cuts so much of the DCU out of the show if the show was to expand more and like sv last a good number of years. I like to see the show develop its own world and not just be locked in a little niche.

That leaves out Alan Scott Lantern, I am afraid. But Elongated Man and Jay Garrick Flash can be explained scientifically.

And.... no Green Arrow adaption without Black Canary showing up at some point.

Alan's powers were, for a long while, an prototype of the advanced technology that the Green Lantern Corps uses. If they used that concept, they could potentially use him.

But Alan should not have any connection to the corps, not at all. He's is a different GL than Hal, Kyle, Guy and John

We should get a suit reveal in the next few days then. Provided he is actually Green Arrow for a good portion of the pilot.

Doubtful, like I mentioned before conts on what type of filming they will be doing first. If they are doing close set/studio work we probably won't see anything. Unless someone from production leaks stuff. If they are going to be starting with exterior/city shoot. Then yes maybe. But like I said can't wait to see what news comes up.

No that isn't an issue. We just don't know how much city work they will do yet, or how much set work. Hell not even sure which studio space they got for pilot in vancouver. And even if they only do set work in pilot. They could always do some city work in show. All counts what will bbe overall budget for series.

Oh, well I don't know much on how filming works on TV shows compared to movies. But if there is a chance there will be ninjas on set, getting snaps of the suit, they'll want to release a good picture of the suit to cancel any negativity towards it. They do so for movies and the word of mouth will be far more detrimental to a TV show than a movie like Superman, or Spider-Man, for example.

Well its probably due to the bar setting and who ever took photo had flash on. Light effects the looks of folks. But as we see here cassidy will be brunette, and for at least the pilot amell will have full goatee going.
