Your right, he wasn't mentioned in any of the reviews. Guess they figured they needed to give him someone to fight.

I think you mean Natas and yeah, he would be interesting. Speaking of Natas, I hope to see a proper Deathstroke on the show. I'm not sure what the hell Smallville was thing.

I think having anyone train to become as good as Ollie after he's just spent five years training and honing to be the best there is, is pretty much a slap in the face of Ollie's skill. It's like saying "This took you five years to master? Jeez you must be slow! I've been practicing with a ninja master in order to get poetic revenge on you for a month now, and I'm already kicking your ass"

It could be one of those deals where it was a hobby of both Ollie and Merlyn's as kids but Merlyn kept up with it while Ollie got bored with it. It happens all the time.

That could be a very easy way to handle tommy if he was to become the comics merlyn. Or he could slowly turn and just works at it on his own. Maybe do an arc where he impersonates ga and gets the city against him and so what.

Both have basically already been given the greenlight. GG only has 1 season left regardless and they probably want to get 90210 to 100episoes so they can get a syndication deal.

Though if they get rid of HoDixie and Ringer then they will probably move (or atleast smartest move) 90210 back to mondays with GG, if Nikita sticks than that should move to tuesdays with Arrow after it and another supernatural show to air after Supernatural.

But they really need to launch a show on wednesday that actually does decent since OTH and ANTM are the only 2 that actually got/get decent ratings and its so hard to pair something with ANTM though I imagine Carrie Diaries will air after that if it gets picked up.

I have a feeling Nikita, Hart of Dixie and Ringer will all be cancelled.
We would be left with 90210, half a season of Gossip Girl, Secret Circle, Supernatural, TVD and ANTM (which usually have fewer episodes)
Which means there are around 4 shows to be picked up.
This means that its a pretty high chance GA will be picked up. I'm guessing they'll probably place Green Arrow after Vampire Diaries and move Secret Circle to another timeslot.

Same here. I'm hoping Mia, Roy would all be starring in this. It seems like a perfect idea to have them do Roy's addiction.
Roy is also being played as a major badass in the current Young Justice TV series, I'm hopeful this would turn out great. If it is like what they're saying more grounded. If it turns out more like Smallville, I'm happy with that as well, considering I stuck with Smallville for 10 seasons.

If they do roy or mia would be great for them to touch into drug/sexual diease aspects to character. Then they can have an episode sponsered by those drug/sex agencies and do a psa on them at end of episode.

Watching all the archery in the Hunger Games makes me want this series to come to fruition. If it doesn't go to series, I hope they'll at least release the pilot via iTunes or DTV movie (like the failed Lone Ranger series).

Well not nessiarly donut, i believe its only been craig from arrowsite that leanded to that. For all we know maybe the sister will be nothing of big deal. If they made her speedy i would be a little disapointed they do that to mia character. But another thing for all we know maybe the sister role doesnt make it past pilot. The role/character could be dropped if execs dont like it, or actress doesnt go to series. But i would hope they down the road do speedy/red arrow/arnsal characters.

I could see them introducing the junkie storyline in that too, from a story point of view. He's trying to make it as a solo Hero, maybe its to hard for him and he turns to drugs to try to make it. Of course that show's mainly for kids so prob not lol

I think that whole thing about calling his sister "speedy" is just a nod to the comics. Nothing more. For me I always found the side kick stuff for arrow a little to similar to batman. But I think it can be done right if they approach it in a unique way. That said, I wouldn't want to see it in the first 2 seasons, if it gets that far.

With them getting colleen atwood to design his costume, do you guys think they will use her for other villains?

I definitely think they did themselves a favour with that first released shot of arrow, people who were skeptical did have positive things to say. If they want to continue the good will I hope they come up with some great designs for the villains.

well since most of his villains are assians and what not. There isnt to many over the top costumes. Then for the likes of count vertigo all we need is a nice daper suit on him and he is set.
