Quite honestly I think this will be a huge bomb but hey that's just my intuition.

The biggest of the pack had 80 to 90% of the critics either liking or loving the films.

Batman
Iron Man
X-Men

Most Superhero films will be lucky to make 200mil domestically. Even the fanboys beloved First Class and Thor aren't making 200mil domestically.

I'd rather have a good.... no forget good, an excellent Green Lantern film which can be remembered for years to come like Superman The Movie, Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Spider-Man 1 and 2, X2, etc.

Yeah, money is important, but in the long term like 20 years down the line, will people be mentioning Green Lantern in the same vein like The Dark Knight or Superman the movie?

TDK is the best comic book movie of all time. It blows everything away to me.

Hard to say that either one is better than the other.

X2 was a damn terrific X-Men movie and TDK was a damn terrific Batman movie.

They both accomplished what they intended and then some. They've both cemented themselves as prime examples of a memorable and legendary SH adaptation. IMO.

As have Spider-Man/SM2, STM, Batman Begins/Batman/BR.

No, it didn't. It beat Thor, not First Class. Unless I'm missing something, Green Lantern matched First Class with $3.4 million (thanks to 3D ticket prices). Earlier reports suggested Green Lantern came in even lower, at $3.35 million.

Ehhh na, i think TDK is crap. It's silly socio political themes are too on the nose. The characters don't talk like real human beings, but exposition spouting mouth pieces. The fight scenes are LAUGHABLE. Batman is the most uninteresting character in the movie.

I tried to bring in reason, and as usual it failed miserably.

Calling any of those films worse than the other is so silly. X2, TDK, Batman Begins, STM, SM/SM2, Batman/BR are legendary and that's that. They're the best of the crop and demonstrate what a SH adaptation is possible of.
