The Thing is that mostly that Trailer was all about Planet Terror. It will be interesting to see what Tarantino's does for Death Proof!

AMEN! I hate Kill Bill. its just a pale imitation of the real thing. And judging from the clip, so is this. Tarantino has nowhere to go, no story to tell, so he goes way over the top to try and compensate. He goes too far IMO, I consider these second rate spoofs because theyre way too long and not even as funny as Spy Hard. Ill be skipping it.

Quentin Tarantino didn't direct any of the footage in that trailer...

Anyway, I'll be seeing this opening day. I just want to see some footage of Deathproof now.

The only part where I agree with QT is, almost as a rule, the old great drive-in/42nd street movies had awesome posters, awesome previews, and then not anywhere near enough budget to live up to the poster/preview.
So it'll be nice to see a pretend 70's show where they can actually do the things they claim to do.
