Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Way back in May of last year I visited the Shepperton Studios pre-production offices of THE MUTANT CHRONICLES, a sci-fi war flick starring Thomas Jane, Ron Perlman, John Malkovich and Devon Aoki (Miho herself). I liked what I saw then, but it's easy to like artists renderings of a brutal sci-fi war. A lot rests on director Simon Hunter's shoulders in bringing this film to life.

My understanding is photography has wrapped and this image below has been approved for the teaser poster. It's pretty striking and, as teaser images are supposed to do, has me more interested in the flick than I was before. Click on the art to get the super big version. What do you folks think?

wow, this movie looks pretty cool.
on the side note, isn't it kinda strange that whichever species is fighting for survival against humans, it makes them bad guys, while in reality we have been doing it since we came down from the trees.

I dunno, some of this just gives me a low-budget Uwe Boll vibe.

I'm interested, even though I don't think Tom Jane is too hot an actor- but Ron Perleman is good in anything so that counters it.

This sounds very similar to gears of war though...not that it's a bad thing.
