Still on Adam Warlock, though in four days I'll be posting the first appearances of some other pretty important characters.

I must admit that I have little to no interest in a Guardians movie. I only remember them from their first appearance in Marvel Super Heroes and know nothing of the new team. Groot, a Kirby monster, is the only thing that looks appealing to me from this newline up - well, maybe Rocket Raccoon, too.

However, I will see it BECAUSE it is a Marvel movie, and I DO hope that I like it.

I admit that I can not tell how much of my enjoyment of the other Marvel films is due to fact that these characters are finally being brought to the screen vs. how good the movie actually are. This is not to say I like all "Marvel" character movies, just because they are Marvel, did not like the Ang Lee Hulk, nor Ghost Rider, Spider-Man 3, X-Men Origins Wolverine, and disappointed by a few of the others.

This will be a good test case for me.

While I've never seen anything related to Guardians of The Galaxy, I think that the idea of a weird group of characters having adventures in space and going to different worlds is extremely interesting. Specially when we have a raccon carrying guns and a mutant tree.

I'm hoping for a really fun movie. I was happy when they announced it.

Well, of course this was almost a decade before Rocky, but maybe Richard O'Brien was a Marvel fan...

That's what I figured. Stuff like this and Black Panther pre-dating the Black Panther party fascinate me.

Ha. Diggin' Doom's suit, there. Guess there was some kind of precedent for his movie look. He should sport fancy green suits more often.

Thanos makes his second full appearance, and in the form that we know him the most. Although he's still on his universal conquest kick, we see the beginning of his association with Death, given that Death appears alongside him.
