I am curious what is going on with Phyla, considering she and Drax seemingly were killed by the Eternals of Titan. Could be one of those "near death vision quest" kind of things that happen a lot in space.

My guess is the standard mythesque go to the afterlife to rescue a loved one.
They'll be brought back once they accomplish their mission.

I dont ever recall him being so chatty or saying things like "S'alright", or any other words he just happened to add "s'" to at the start.

True. I guess I chalked it up to him being more driven than usual because he was trying to save his daughter. Apathy tends to wear away when you're doing something you truly care about.

Exactly, when did he start caring about anything besides killing?

He's always cared about his daughter to some extent. Even when he was super-dumb.

I love how he found a couple of giant jagged pieces of sharp metal to use as swords, even though they were in a big empty ****ing oblivion dimension.

I really think the cast needs to come back together. Splitting them up is fine for a while, but we've covered what each of the major characters has done since they split at this point. Time to bring the Guardians back together for War of Kings.

No one. Star-Lord, Phyla (until she turns against them), Adam Warlock, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Bug, Groot, and Drax--those are your active Guardians--and then Moonstone will be recovering from her recent death, Vance and Starhawk will have their own side story trying to recover Vance's memories/reveal the mystery that Starhawk came back in time to prevent, and Cosmo and Mantis return to support duties with Jack Flag along for the ride.

I think I covered everyone there. I could have missed some people, though. There's a lot of characters.

Sounds good, just don't want the book to seem too crowded like JSA

Nah, they don't even have the sheer numbers for that at this point. I think everyone they do have could find a place in the book, though. Until they start another cosmic book, this and Nova are pretty much it, and Nova already feels a bit crowded with the Nova Corps and Wendell.
