And that image doesn't mean anything, it's a promotional teaser, it might show up in the movie but it might equally never show up in the movie too.

Nobody said the image is in the movie. I said that was the image they chose to announce the film. If that's the case I wouldn't think "Thanos assembles the Gauntlet" is seen as a huge spoiler given the first image to promote the film was literally Thanos in the Gauntlet.

I guess what I should've said was that it's a spoiler that he hasn't assembled the gauntlet until the 2nd film? A lot of people including me assumed Infinity War was where he would do everything and start with the gauntlet already assembled and that Avengers 4 might not have Thanos in it at all. But the title being revealed as Gauntlet shows it's very much so the case.

Oooh! I like that idea, but it has 2 issues with it.
1: the title would definitely need more "fleshing out." I almost wonder if -- after seeing the Watchers in GotGV2 we might see a potential "Original Sin" title in the works? Eventually, perhaps? Probably not for the 4th Avengers film because it sounds like Thanos is going to be gone after "Infinity War." So unless the Watchers become a problem for Thanos' goals, I couldn't see "Original Sin" title...
2: how would they do the Avenger's "A" symbol with the number 4 mixed into it...? I'd love to see designs for it though!

So news broke this week that the title of the fourth Avengers film is a spoiler. That could mean a lot of things; it could be the title of a specific comic book arc that follows The Infinity Gauntlet or another story involving Thanos, or it could reference something specific that happens in the Infinity War film. Maybe both. So what do you think it could be?

The more I think about it, the more I believe that the title won't reveal anything special about the movie itself, it will reveal spoilers concerning certain characters. Specifically, the Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Doctor Doom, Galactus and any other associated characters owned by Fox due to having the FF rights. In my opinion, it's the only thing that really makes sense when they say that the title is a spoiler. But again, I could be wrong.

That's one title they definitely won't use. The first Avengers movie is known as Avengers Assemble in the UK, so this will barely differentiate from that except for the addition of a "d". It will be too confusing for audiences.

I don't think it'll be Infinity Gauntlet as that sounds like a stepdown from Infinity War.

Although I can't think of anything that sounds like a step up from Infinity War either...
