Guillermo Vargas Habacuc deserves DEATH

It is art.
It's evil art.
If a rapist kills a woman and uses her blood to draw a smiley face on the wall, it's his art, but it's evil art.
Conceptually, the insanity of letting a creature starve while food is right nearby is a very powerful artistic statement on many levels...but it's also evil.

As anyone who has ever b****ed about a movie, or a comicbook, or music, should know, the word "art" does not mean "goodness".

Nazis making lampshades out of human skin is art.

I agree. However, just because something is technically art doesn't make it right or that it should be allowed; specifically art that involves something or someone dying, being tortured or disfigured in order for that art to be created. "It's art!" is not an excuse to go out and do horrible s***.

I agree here, although it's annoying to see people abuse the term "art" (just look at DeviantArt if you want an example).

However, while I believe this guy should be punished, I do find it funny that everyone here is in an uproar about Guillermo killing another being, so in turn the title of the thread is "Habacuc deserves DEATH."

Sounds a little hypocritical to me.

Right, no excuse. It's evil art, so you arrest him, he says, "Hey, man, this is my "art".", and you say, "The execution of your evil art involved committing a heinous crime." and you lock him up forever.

But I was responding to people who are saying, "THAT'S NOT ART!! :cmad:"
It is evil, repugnant, criminal art.

According to the owner of the gallery, the dog was fed and eventually escaped. Link.

So, the lady that provided the place for this to all take place who is probably receiving copious amounts of threats and having his business boycotted as a result is a credible source HOW exactly? And it in no way excuses the cruelty of such an exercise, either. Period.

Doesn't it strike you as convenient for her to come out and say that the dog was really fed and then escaped after one day now that the heat is on her for allowing this to go on in her gallery? She's just trying to save her own ass. Pretty obvious. She has zero credibility.

I was just posting a link. I didn't day she had any credibility.

are you serious

Well it was no joke... it was just an artistic experiment to see your reactions (Hey, at least I didn't kill a dog), so, to be clear.

BTW this *****e of Guillermo excuses himself saying that the spectators who didnt do anything to save the animal where the real killers, not him, thus making a point the most idiotic way posible.:cmad:

PD: Just to be clear, I despise this type of art.

"Well, no one stopped me from killing, raping and skinning a classroom of thirty teachers, so it's all their fault."

Worst excuse since "McDonalds made me fat."
