Star Wars I can see because the audience is primarily male and grew up with Star Wars. But I would think the audience for Aladdin skews more female.

Why, though? This is Aladdin we're talking about, not Beauty and the Beast. Out of all the Disney Renaissance films, I'd say Aladdin was the most popular with boys along with The Lion King.

Yeah while most of those stories had romance subplots, Aladdin, Lion King, Hunchback and Hercules were like the most boy centric flicks ever. The latter three especially due to the Daddy issues.
