Don't know what it is but this dude doesn't look quite right for the part.

For me it looks unauthentic. His costume looks like something an Ice rink show would have or he's too clean cut.

Something about his teeth make him look weirdly nerdy. Could be intentional I guess.

Again, it's just one shot, but let's be nice for now and wait until we get photos and more footage later on. Bear in mind, the more-realistic-looking Lumiere and Cogsworth from BATB gave me a similar feeling from that first promo photo and i later got adjusted to it and didn't mind.

I was expecting it to be a similar teaser to Beauty and the Beast in that they weren't gonna show much. Interesting how they kept the same Frank Welker Dr. Claw Cave of Wonders voice from the animated film.

Looks pretty awful right now and I wouldn't be surprised since Ritchie hasn't made a good film in a long time.

Looks good I suppose. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite animated film and I was horribly disappointed in the mess that was the live action film. I do hope this and Lion King are more on the Jungle Book/Cinderella side of quality.

I also have conflicting feelings about these live action remakes but Disney’s gonna make em no matter what so they might as well be good.

I was against these on principle, but I've ended up enjoying them all so I'm done complaining, lol. I do agree B&tB was the weakest thus far, though. Jungle Book and Cinderella made me a believer. I actually liked those two more than the originals. But that'll be a tall order with this and The Lion King because I'm much more attached to those originals.

No you are wrong. It’s been confirmed that genie IS NOT cg. It’s just Will Smith with crazy hair and minus the blue.

It's the Disney take. Of course it looks like a showbiz kid's-fable version.

Yeah that was the definition of "teaser". I can't wait to see more. I don't have any complaints. Loved hearing the original voice used for the cave of wonders.

It’s interesting it’s almost identical to the beauty and the beast teaser.

1. Start with the iconic setting
2. Hint at a loveable supporting character
3. End with the hero reaching eagerly for a major prop piece

I liked it though. Looks like a beautiful film. I miss the days when the Middle East looked exotic and mysterious instead of scary all the time

I thought it was way better than the BATB teaser. Similar cues but much better execution. The music was just . Still on the fence about Guy Ritchie directing but that teaser was really well-crafted .

I liked it a lot, especially the musical tease during the Cave of Wonders scene. As someone who's favorite Disney movie has always been 1991 BatB, I think this one is really going to deliver. BatB was OK, but not even close to the perfection of the original.

It's a live version of a Disney animated movie about a fictional Arabian city and a boy who finds a genie in a lamp. I don't get why people have to nitpick about authenticity in a movie which features a taking parrot and flying carpets.

The teaser did its job fine. I'm not usually a fan of teasers as you often get so little and that's the case here too, but it was very nice to hear the music and see some backgrounds.

That teaser did more for me than Beauty and the Beast’s teaser did. I’m just keeping an open mind to Will Smith as Genie.

They better come correct for Aladdin and Lion King, those are the damn heavyweights!

Same for me, those are the big 2.
