Yeah I tried to explain to him what "fasting" does, and how this was nothing new and very dangerous. Of course the guy already hates the AMA apparently and any sound advice....forms of logic....reason...too his credit though he hasn't deleted any of my posts, so hopefully others will read them.

Take my acne for example. There is a drug that could get rid of it entirely, but there is a high chance the drug would make me horribly depressed. People have killed themselves on this drug. So, no.

Dude, that's the whole part of the diet that makes it work! If you can't get a hold of any food because your hands are nailed to a cross, you can't eat. Therefore you lose weight.
