'H2', Rob Zombie's sequel to 'Halloween'

I have not seen H4-H6 in a long time but I remember some stuff. Didn't they ignore some things from the original first 2 movies in H4-6?

Cause if I recall they did not mention Laurie at all, but Jamie was Laurie's daughter right? I know she was Micheal's niece.

And Loomis got blown up in the hospital too with Micheal, yet he had an injured leg. Considering he was human more would of happen to him you think.

Yeah, he also had the side of his face scarred up. But Its just a movie dude, no reason to look at the faults. Im sure you could do that for almost every movie.

That was a remake I'm sorry. Friday was a remake. There's no way it fits in perfectly with the old series. It makes no sense what so ever inserting it ANYWHERE in the old series.

Platinum Dunes can say whatever it wants, the Friday the 13th film that came out in February was a remake.
If it was a direct remake of F13 it would have had Jason's mom in it as the killer and Jason wouldn't be in it at all. The first couple minutes are about as close to a remake as it was.

I mean with the F13 reboot, it made mention of jason being around while it really wasn't a remake and at the same time it wasn't a sequel either. It was just like in the middle. But its like I don't know where their gonna go from here.

I really don't know either man.

Exactly. I see the new F13 as more of a retelling.

Any remake of Friday the 13th would have used Jason instead of Ms. Voorhees cause he's the one the general public thinks of when they hear the series name. Only smart business.

It was a remake/reboot of the series that wiped out everything of the old series for all intents and purposes. Ms. Voorhees death was even sort of different.

I just wanted to know if H4-6 ignore most of parts 1 and 2?

No, the visions were clearly part of Michael from the beginning if the visit with his mother that starts the film is to be believed.

I think ultimately Rob broke his ''Nothing supernatural here" rule with this one. The visions, the psychic link was clearly supernatural.

Dreams aren't supernatural. Supernatural is only considered when such strange events are physically taking place in said "real" world. Laurie being delusional doesn't count, as it's all in her mind, but nothing is actaully physicaly happening to her.

I really don't see why people are hating on the visions. Michael was obviously insane, messed up and possibly, making things up in his head to not feel so empty and alone all the time. You go crazy, you only have your mind..or lack thereof. Michael's mother NEVER EVER TOLD HIM WHAT TO DO OR TO KILL. It was Michael himself who was making up the visions and trying to justify himself in some form or another. Laurie seeing the visions were her coming of age and having a bond with Michael. I'll agree that was pretty stupid..but I digress.

They should just wait a while. Nothing good can come from rushing something into production and getting it out under a years time.
This movie was rushed into production. Rob's version of it at least. Before it was someone else's baby, the French Directors who left the Hellraiser remake to do this originally. I'm sure they had other ideas for this than Rob's.

Rob's involvement in Halloween 2 only became news in mid-2008 so.

I'll admit i did not like young Micheal speaking at the end. Or maybe it was just the kid actor. He just seemed I don't know. But I liked the other kid better.

Exactly. Visions and dreams are mental, they're not supernatural.

People hate the visions because it invokes Mrs. Voorhees. You have reduced a murdering psychopath down to a man who has mother issues. Michael's reasoning never needed explaining. Sometimes things are better off left unsaid because when you try to come up with a rationale it just comes off cheap and stupid.

They shared a PSYCHIC LINK. She BARFED because he ate the dog. That is CLEARLY supernatural. There are supernatural elements in the remake series. :o

Yes, but still he had somewhere to go in those movies.

Here there is nothing to do. Micheal is Dead! Loomis is Dead! Annie dead! Just about everyone is dead! D-E-A-D! Dead! Except Laurie who is now crazy.

Reminds me of the beginning of part 5, where jamie can see michael put on the mask.

They'll find a way to drag more money out of it. It shouldn't be a shock. Michael's been shown to be really really really totally dead 3 times in the series now so far. Each time he's gotten up and went on another rampage.

Of course it'll probably suck how they explain it. :o

That's one way of looking at it. Another way to look at it is Laurie puked because of Mr. Bracketts meat pizza having 'touched' her vegie pinnapple pizza side. It could have been just a coincidence that Laurie puked at the same time of Michael eating the dog. It wasn't so CLEARLY as you state, though it may appear that way..it wasn't very clear exactly.

Dude, it was clearly meant as a psychic link. :whatever:

It was never because of the veggie pizza being ''tainted". :whatever:

The next movie we could see Michael do the killing but it could be Laurie actually doing it or something of that nature.
That could work, but I don't know, honestly. I mean, I think people want Michael himself to kill, not Laurie, even if we see her as Michael or something,
