'H2', Rob Zombie's sequel to 'Halloween'

As for the possibitly or subject of HALLOWEEN 3D and where to take it. If you look at personal politics between Zombie and the Weinsteins, I wouldn't put it past them to disreguard H2 and just say it never really happened or that it was a dream of sorts. Why? Because Zombie intentionaly did H2 as a giant FU to them. You can read between the lines of his interviews for the film that he's saying FU to the studio for their politics during the first film. They gave him free reign this time around and he choose to burn the bridge and say "HEY, FU, I'M GOING TO PISS YOU OFF". Zombie, to my honest opinion, did this film for money and for the chance to be a dick. It worked. And the Weinsteins have the perfect chance now to do the same and ruin what Zombie did in H2. Not only would that make fans happy at this point to disreguard H2, but it would allow them another movie and the fans another chance to see Michael...and in 3D no less. Zombie's done with Michael, but you must remember this....so is the entire cast. Everyone will have to be re-cast (unless the money talks).

But this is just confusion and being lost words being spoke right now, as they, us, or them have no idea what to do about HALLOWEEN from now on. They could do anything. And until we get more information in the coming months or so, we'll just have to talk out our a** until then.

Dude, it was clearly meant as a psychic link. :whatever:

It was never because of the veggie pizza being ''tainted". :whatever:

Then it could be caulked up to a family bond. Twins have a sense to bond with each other when the other does something, the other feels it. That's not considered supernatural. When two people are very close, it's very common for one to feel or sense the other their feelings/actions.

Either way, it's not technicaly considered supernatural as you want to believe it to be. It's more psychological than supernatural.

A psychic link is also the only way to explain how Michael would know where to go when he got to Haddonfield, why he'd know to go to the party, how he'd know where Brackett's house was.

I don't see Rob as being a dick. If anyone was a dick it was the Weinsteins ans cutting the shooting schedule down by so many days and telling him he needed to shoot and edit the move together in a certain amount of days to make it to the release they have set.

I think they are just making it 3d seeing as the film that beat this movie was 3d and they think its just a easy way to cash in.

Very true, and it makes it so that my ultimate fear for H3 having a better chance of coming true. It having good 3-D effects, but a piss poor story.

The way this film displays it, it's VERY much a supernatural occurrence. It's a bond between two siblings who are NOT close in the slightest. One is trying to kill the other, and the other is mentally ****ed up by the other.

I'm very close with alot of people, but never to the point of what you are trying to say.

It's a supernatural bond, man.

I'll admit i did not like young Micheal speaking at the end. Or maybe it was just the kid actor. He just seemed I don't know. But I liked the other kid better.

He was the weekest thing aobut it , I would of prefered Daeg with his growth spurt. Thsi new kid just didnt creep me out at all.

Tell you the truth, even if it is 3d and with the way things are right now with the Weinsteins i A(don't see it getting made or B)Going straight to dvd. Do 3d movies even do that?

If you're a director and are told you have free reign and can do anything you want and have all this time and money to do so, and out of nowhere they come back into the picture to say something differently, wouldn't you try to even the score? I don't see Rob being a dick either, but I think given the restraints mid-production may have angered him a bit to intentionaly send a message to the studio.

I'm sure if Rob was given enough time to edit and film everything he wanted a certain way and the release date pushed back to at least September...the film could have been put together much better and fleshed out, but as it, it was a rushed hacked up job. So much is missing, so many takes are alternates, and it really has a lot of empty spaces in it. Rob possibly gave up on the film during mid-editing and just threw it together and told the studio "You're problem now".

I'm sorry, but Rob was FAR too into the finished product in videos where he clearly wouldn't be putting on a public face. (Scout Taylor Compton's blog videos for one.)

He didn't release the film the way it was, because he wanted to go ''HAHAHAHAHAHA! Sucks to be you Weinstiens!"

When that kid spoke he just sounded to wussy and cheesy.

I mean he couldn't have been that tall. I'm sure a way could have been used.
But it was the weinsteins and Rob barely has anything to work with.

It's a supernatural bond, man.

Has someone personaly stalked you, killed your friends, and scarred you for life? Have you killed that person with your own hands, lived to tell about it, only to find out that person isn't dead or missing? I'd say the experiance of Laurie from the first film gave her enough of a bond to Michael for her to share some mental issues with him. And they are siblings. It's implied pretty well that crazy runs in the family. I'd say that alone is enough to trigger such effects.

And lets say you're right....it was ONE occurance. One little thing like that doesn't mean the film is supernatural as a whole. Unlike P5, Laurie isn't constantly reacting to Michaels actions like Jamie was.

But I'll do ya one better...I just caulk it up to bad wrting and flawed directing. Simple as that. Films have flaws...this one...a bit more than others I've seen lately.

But I don't understand why someone would want to make something bad on purpose after the filming was just about done to piss off the producers? That's not exactly a smart career move.

Doesn't exactly seem like a hey hire me as a director for your movie type of thing.

But I can understand being pissed about something cause someone is always rushing you and telling you you to go faster and faster and you only have so much time to do do something.

Wow, this movie sucked balls. I can't defend Zombie on this one.

You would not bond with someone who tried to kill you in the way, you are implying. And crazy running in the family was never implied. Judith was a ****ty girl, Laurie was a normal girl till the end of this film. Deborah was a troubled mother who seemed psychological fine, she was a stripper because she loved her family and would do anything to make money for them. The only one who seemed mental off kilter was the step-father and he's not blood.

The bond was supernatural in nature. Not one of love.

"THIS IS ONE STUPID 'EFFING MOVIE!"

I'd like to contribute that quote for the future DVD/Bluray release, looks like Rob Zombie must've had one messed up childhood since in all his movie he just loves to glorify violence and bloodshed with such a malicious hatred that is makes Michael Myers look more like a vengeful serial killer than a boogeyman.

This movie just seemed like an extension of the first with the same stupid plot of MM hunting down his sister and killing people left and right and grunting I might add, why does he have to grunt?

Laurie's two friends, the blond and the brunette were pretty cute which helps pass the time since I kept looking at my watch wondering when it was over.

About the only good part is when Dr. Loomis is being mocked by Weird Al Yankovic joking as to which Michael Myers, the serial killer or the actor. :)

The only reason I saw this garbage was that I snuck in only after paying to see The Final Destination which was far better.

If I'm being paid, and I'm ensured another check based off the success of the film..I'd front a poker face to cameras to try and convience people everythingis okay and the movie is just fine.

And let's remember this...Rob has had a ton of interviews for the past three months...he's been releaseing a ton of photos, blogs, and other s**t. It seems to me he was distracted too much from editing to post blogs, photos, give interviews and such when he should have just worked on editing and worried about photos, interviews, blogs and all that AFTER he was finished. But he was trying to do everything at once, instead of one thing at a time. Almost everyday he would release something. He even went out of his way to film Uncle Seymore videos and a music video for the 'film' band.

What he did was stop caring about the BIG PICTURE and focused more on trying to convience people the movie was going to be Citizen Kane for Halloween.

Dude, stop. Your theory is just...

:facepalm

Rob and his cast were totally in love with the finished project they sent to theaters. This film was not an FU to the Weinstiens.

I don't feel it was intentional to begin with, but I feel he may have just had enough of the BS given to him and gave up. He stopped caring and just slacked off. Hurried up and finish the job like they wanted. If they wanted him to give in a great film, they would have allowed the time for it, but they didn't, and he obviously took that as a sign they didn't care enough about his vision and he didn't have enough pull to finish it that way.

Like I really said, the editing of the final piece is what gives me the feeling he may have stopped caring during the editing proccess and just turned in what he could when they wanted it. I'm sure Rob has his real complete vision sitting on the cutting room floor. Maybe he'll get back to work on it, maybe we'll see that some day...but what we got seems to me was someones work they gave up on.

They've release straight to DVD 3D films before...it's happened...Night Of The Living Dead 3D comes to mind.
