My thing is now with all these cheaters and people that support cheating, open relationships/ open marriage and polygamy and other things, marraige is starting to become a joke. It's rare to find people that actually take marriage serious or stay married for a lot of years. My parents been married 28 years now and it's sad people nowadays can barely last a year. I just don't get people that cheat or feel then need in open relationships etc. Are people that controlled by sex that it clouds their moral judgement? Do people still have self control? I am not a perfect man and I do make mistakes. But when I make a promise to someone I keep that. My father thankfully instilled in me to be a man of my word. So when I do get married and put a ring on a girls finger that's my promise to her that I will be faithful to her until I die or sadly she dies. I unfortunately, fallout of love with her ( which I highly doubt that I would) then I would get a divorce. I wouldn't sneak around and cheat or press for an open marriage. I am in my late 20's but it's shocking to see how much I differ from my peers in this line of thinking.

Open relationships and polygamy used to be more accepted than they are now.

Also, if marriage becomes a joke... I don't really care. If people love each other and want to be together they can do that. If they want to split, they can do that. I can't say I would shed a tear for the "institution of marriage".

You know since this is a superhero forum i wonder what Superman would do if he found out Lois Lane was a member of Ashley Madison?

What if she was cheating on him with Lex Luthor?

She would have no taste in men.

Some people like to have variety in their relationships. Simple as that really.

He already stalked her a good amount of the movie in Superman Returns. I'm sure he'd already know.

If that's the case don't get married. Just be in a open relationship or friends with benefits arrangement if that's what you desire.

Lois Lane cheating on Superman with Batman? Guys lets be realistic. :o

No woman is going to leave Henry Cavill for Ben Affleck.

So I was reading this article and apparently there are a lot of Hollywood celebrities, Sports stars, politicians and rich business men that are freaking out because they think if their names are released it will ruin their careers.

"Celebrities are 'desperately' calling up experts to help them manage their reputations following Ashley Madison leak, Daily Mail Online can reveal
. These include actor from a recent Hollywood action film, top NFL player, reality TV star, well-known Southern politician and a Coca Cola executive"

"One company, Reputation Management Consultants, has received record number of calls from celebrities panicking about the hack and data leak."

and as to the thread title, I thought the group - Impact Team - wasn't asking for money but for the site and another (EstablishedMen.com) to be shut down permanently

I do kinda wonder who the well known southern politician is? I wonder if he is currently running for office... it would be like the John Edwards scandal all over again.

Why not get married? If a couple are okay with being monogamish and they do in fact make it work, who are you to tell them that they shouldn't get married? Because it offends your sensibilities? Sorry, but it's none of your business.

I don't personally approve of open relationships and kind of don't see the point of being with someone if you're going to **** around with other people.

But it's not my business.

I have mixed feelings on them myself. Circumstances make a big difference. For instance, a couple where one spouse is physically disabled in some way that removes sex as an option. If allowing the other spouse to scratch that itch keeps them committed and together, then good for them.

I'm not sure how open I'd be to just having an open relationship without that. I'm not typically a very jealous person, but it bug me.

But you nailed it. That's me. I can only make that decision for myself. What someone else chooses to do isn't for me to judge if they're not hurting someone else.

That about sums up my feelings. I just couldn't imagine being okay with my partner screwing randos.

If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.

Exodus 21:10

15 If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated:

16 Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn:

17 But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.

Deuteronomy 21:15-17

And David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem, after he was come from Hebron: and there were yet sons and daughters born to David.

2 Samuel 5:13

It's not exactly some new thing that just sprung up.

I know a couple who are swingers. They both **** around with other people, including other couples they're friends with.

I don't doubt that they love each other, but they're both extremely sexual people who need a lot of....variety, I guess.

I don't entirely get it, but apparently it works for them, so whatever.
