Look, I don't mind if things get spoiled for myself around here but little rumors like this (that could possibly be true) should have been kept hush hush for the sake of the rest of the world for Sony and Webb's attempt to maintain secrecy. Like Webb has recently stated, he wants to preserve the surprise and discovery of watching a film.

This news wouldn't have even spread if it weren't for a forum poster's random meeting with a family member who said something in passing about working for the ASM2 production.

That said, this thread should've been deleted and honestly, Sevenwebheads shouldn't have reported it in this case. Other sites reporting it stems from his video.

Even if "said" actor doesn't end up appearing in the film, it's already a somewhat substantiated rumor that's making the rounds as news.

Regardless, I'm very happy about this new piece of information. Said actor would be great for a number of roles in the Spider-verse, but someone just delete this thread.

This doesn't look like the Spider-Man set to me. I think it may be outside of the David Letterman show, where Jim was booked that day.

The Letterman show (03/13) was one day before the guy took that photo with Jim (03/14). Also he took a photo with Emma Stone two days before (03/12).
