The Letterman show (03/13) was one day before the guy took that photo with Jim (03/14). Also he took a photo with Emma Stone two days before (03/12).

Also I read some of that guy's comments and I'm quite sure he knows where the Letterman is and where they were filming TASM2. I believe Jim was on the set.

J.K. Simmons looked more like J.J. than Carrey ever will or does.

If you ask me though, Stephen Lang or Ron Perlman would be perfect J. Jonah Jamesons.

I don't mind the idea of Carrey as Cletus Kassidy but is it going to be just a quick 5 second cameo with him at Ravencroft? I mean wonderful if we're going to have all these easter eggs and villains, but outside of fandom people are going to be like, 'Who the hell is he playing?'

Better Cletus Kassidy picks would be Jackie Earle Haley or Robert Knepper IMO. Carrey has gotten stale and too political for my tastes.

The guy's been around for 13 years, i doubt he's lying.
Plus, he said that we can trust his friend. But that wouldn't be the first time somebody that his trying to spread a false rumor would said that.

Oh well, guess we'll have to wait and see.
