Thanks to vigilant eyes, and a later confession, it was revealed that the tweet and picture were actually from outside the Letterman studio, whera he was appearing that night.

Dragon is a long, established member with many posts. I'd be extremely immature of him to do this as a joke. I'm gonna think positively that maybe his friend just didn't know what he was talking about or Jim was just there for a small visit.

I mean just 'cause someone says he has a family member that works on set and blahbity blah doesn't mean it's true you know? Especially online. I could see why some here were believing it, or wanting to believe it. Jim Carrey as JJJ to me would've been dope. But I definitely don't trust some dude on the internet claiming to have info. Especially after he didn't want to reveal the info because he didn't want his fam member to get in trouble, but instead revealed anyway, causing this site and a whole bunch of other sites including MTV, to write an article about it. I knew it.

P.S. I'd feel really bad if it wasn't Dragon's fault, and more so his "family member" who gave him the info. Haha..whatevs.

nothing more then what you all are talking about, I am not posting to say Jims Carnage or anything but usually AMC won't put that out there unless they got a decent source to give them info, I was just throwing that on here to back Dragon was right and he does have a role what that role is ah for us to guess could just be a cameo for all I know just thought I share that bit of info I ran across.

Yep, they're just repeating information they read from various news sites which all started from this forum. They're even referencing that photo saying he was spotted on the set in March, and we all know now that he wasn't on the set that day...

Yup. I also don't know where you get the idea that AMC wouldn't post a video on it unless they knew it was confirmed. It's AMC Movie Talk...they talk about the latest rumors and buzz in movies. That's the idea. Anyways, just to further add, they're also just reporting back on what Sevenwebheadsd speculated about Jim being Carnage and how they were filming Ravencroft scenes at the time. That's not necessarily untrue, but they also filmed other scenes around that time in March...

It doesn't matter which genre of movie it is, I just think he's a terrible actor.
