Sequels Halle Calls Out To Xmen Fans For X4

After the flop that SR was, and yes it flopped

Just how much of a profit did this film make? 200 million plus budget plus marketing? SR barly made 200 million domestically and it would'nt have got that if not for Imax. I'm still not a 100 percent sold that WB is going to do another one despite what's been released to the media. You can bet it won't get a 200 million budget, singer will be lucky to get 100-120 million next go round and I still don't believe that WB is going to let him direct the next one despite what's been reported.

I would not want Bryan Singer to do another X-Men movie anyway. He screwed up the first two X-Men movies and did a okay job with Superman Returns until the added a child and him still being super with a piece of kryptonite still in his body. Also, if those bullets that was hitting him from that gatlin gun could not damage is costume, how were the doctors able to cut it off of him?

No thanks to an X-Men 4 by the creative team behind X-Men: The Last Stand. Fox needs to learn to give its potentially bigger and better properties adequate amounts of time and money to be all that they can be. Their superhero films have been going downhill since X2. No more of the likes of Daredevil, Elektra, Fantastic Four, or The Last Stand please . . . and if Fantastic Four 2 isn't better, I'll be highly disappointed.

What I don´t get is, why do we even need to write letters when X3 made 460m worldwide and sold pretty well on DVD?

Hell no. Has not Fox already rode X-men into the ground? How worse can it get. Only when Marvel gets the film making rights back do I want to see another film.

Let's all send Tom Rothman letters for an X4, that have a clear set of guidlines like the the ones he gave Kinberg and Penn.

-Must include Cyclops.
-Must find a better director.
-Must not treat the source material like newpaper in a dog pen.
-Must not be rushed.

etc

If that were the case, I'd write a letter.

-R

i can stand behind this. it still baffles me when people say "I LIKED X3!". I have to guess that they are 14 years old and they type of person that is like "XXX is the greatest movie ever made! xxx2 HELL YEAH! Why not XXX3!"

The movie was shiite! Intolerable shiite! and is already on the 7 dollar rack at blockbuster! Shiite with no plot points no connection to plot points no respect for key characters, no explanations and do you really think JUGGERNAUGHT needed to be taken out with that Joss Whedon Style camp???? Pyslocke killed????? It really just frustrates me to no end how crappy this movie was! But then to try to recover from that???? HELL NO!

The only way to recover is bring back cyclops have xavier have no powers and a different voice, explain where the hell angel and his dad went how he got there so fast and what resolution they had, show actual struggle in Rogue's character with her choice, kill halle berry by the "real storm" come to take over the clone/traitor/robot... what ever! Actually that wouldnt work but neither does halle.

this movie was sooooo bad on soo many levels and a 4th movie would fail cause fox didnt learn anything from it after a zillion kids went to see it. They next movie would be pitched to 7 year olds cause that is where they made all their money.

why not just send an online petition saying u want a sequel along with anything else we can do to say we want more x-men movies, he he

Um I'm not 7 or 14 and I liked X3. It's not this horriable mess that everyone is making out. While I didn't agree with some of the things that happened in x3 it was far from Batman & Robin. Everyone hails Batman and Superman returns as these great movies and they just weren't. I liked BR but it was overrated by the fans. SR was weak and had no plot what so freaking ever. If lifting up and pushing an island sized chunk of Rock laced with tons of Kryptonite into space doesn't make you pause and go what the phuck then nothing will.

Both SR and BR had problems as well. The fight scenes in BR were choppy and poorly done and the camera was to d@mn close, and lets not forget the Water evaporation machine that's designed to destroy an enemy's water source, but magically has no effect on the thousands of Carbon Based life forms known as human beings, LOL. I guess Wayne Industries must have had Dr Fate on the payroll to cast a spell because their is no technological invention so precise and accurate that could only target water outside of people and animals especailly since BR is set in today's time, and not in the year 3000 like the Legion of Superheroes. Could've brought the Water evaporating machine if it fired some energy beam into a pool of water or something, but this machine emitted rays in every direction riding on that train. I'll also leave Katie Homes out of this.

As for SR, why bother.

I don't want an X-Men 4 just cause I don't like Halle Berry and she'd try to make the whole movie about her... and with cyclops and jean gone, she'd get her wish. just a stand alone wolverine movie is the better choice, I think

Here's something really messed up. Halle just told fans to write to the wrong company. After FF 2 comes out Fox will not be making anymore Marvel movies all movie rights will go to Marvel studios and Paramount as part of a new deal Marvel made with Hasbro who just purchased Marvel Entertainment AKA Toy Biz. And no Marvel Entertainment AKA Toy Biz was not part of Marvel comics so Marvel comics can keep there has all there copyrights of all there characters and a new name Marvel Studios. But don't worry Hasbro did not buy out Marvel they just took Toy Biz and left Marvel alone. So Marvel Entertainment was and will never be apart of Marvel comics and now Marvel Studios. Marvel Entertainment was Toy Biz now owned by Hasbro. But anyways Hasbro will keep there deal with Marvel that Toy Biz made with them but Hasbro dose not want to deal with Fox. So now Marvel is going to Paramount the same studio that's doing Transformers And Hasbro will make all the Marvel toys including Marvel Legends.:trans:

Why else would she want it made?

How would she know any of this?

How would she know any of this?
And that would be the funny part. So if anyone is going to send letters to Fox go ahead it an't going to do you a lick of good. You might want to send them to Marvel Studios and Paramount not Fox.

"I had no idea you love Storm so much!"

NOT your Storm, missie!! Bleh...

I'd seriously prefer a Storm solo film. But it must have decent supporting actors. (And I always expect a decent screenplay and direction, no matter the film; so I won't mention that again.) Maybe a Morlocks / Marauders / "Mutant Massacre" adaption. (I'd love to see Halle Berry in a mohawk. :woot: )

I don't want to see a fourth X-Men film. I'd rather see a New Mutants film with Iceman and Rogue and Colossus and Shadowcat; along with some other decent younger X-characters.

Who'd run the school? Beast would do just fine. I'd accept Emma Frost as an assistant. :cwink: And maybe bring Nightcrawler back for some fun! By the end of the film we could see the return of Professor Xavier. And a cameo by Captain Britain! I'd really mark out over that! Xavier is being looked after in the U.K. by Moira MacTaggert after all.

Anyhoo...

Nah, I say can any ideas of X4. Go on with the spin-offs and restart X-Men over in a few years.

for the love of god, dont bring back ratner.

I agree!! :hyper:

I too want a storm solo played by the 1 and only Halle Berry!!:cwink: But please- no mohawk!! Halle wont look good at it. :o

It doesn't matter what we want, because FOX will make X4 depending on the mainstream audience and not us fans who equal to low numbers.

Personally I liked X3 the best of all. I didn't like the fact that it felt rushed, and that the story was severely fragmented and WAY too short. I think Bryan's first two were ok, and really opened the door, but they always felt so held back. Very restrained.

As for Halle - she can kiss my ass. She totally f##ked up Storm and the movies with her arragance and egotism. Her accent changed every few minutes of every movie, never consistant. Best leading actress - hah. Best pair - maybe.

I would love to see X-men movies made on and on like the comics. But I would rather have people who love the series, like the new Battlestar Galactica. You can tell those people CARE about what they are doing. And the execs know enough to let them have the reins.

I was also thinking Hugh is fantastic, but the only other person I could see in the role (not an actor) is Glen Danzig. He's got the same build and looks just like Logan. Weird.
I loved Nightcrawler, and missed him in the 3rd movie. Everyone else was pretty good. Professor X was exceptional as was Magneto.

Ok, now I feel better. Sorry to Rant.

I actually thought Halle did her best in X3... far better than the first two. She went from awful to almost decent. But I still think she's way overrated as an actress, and a horrible choice for Storm.
I also never liked Singer. He messed up X1 and Superman, he did a good job with X2 though. I can't stand Ratner. He added far too many characters, and not nearly enough of a running time to develop anything. His excuse is that he has a short attention span. X4 needs a director that doesn't have ADD.
If they add a great director, a respectable writing team, and replaced Halle Berry with someone that can do a simple accent, I'd love to see an X4.
I'm sure there are lots of big-name directors that would love to get their hands on this franchise, provided that Fox doesn't mind giving up a little creative control to Marvel and the production team. they should nudge closer to an R-rating too.

On a side note, I'd still love to see an X-kids movie.
