and in the trailer the same clothes with the same hairstyle.
No i didnt know it had been in development for that long, who knew Hollywood could still come up with new ideas? Very interesting though, and it seems a role tailormaid for Will.
That, and were he throws the whale and it lands on a boat, both had me in stitches, cant believe i have just noticed the movie!
t:they are in this thread. i dotn know on what page. more at teh beginning IMO.I haven't seen these pics, where can I find them?
will smith was casted in 2005? and they already started filming in 2007? woowYeah, it was originally called Tonight, He Comes. The script was originally written by Vincent Ngo, with rewrites made by Vince Gilligan. The movie has been in development since 1996, not '94 (sorry). Tony Scott, Michael Mann *, Jonathan Mostow and Gabriele Muccino were all attached to direct the movie at one point, and I'm glad that Peter Berg managed to get this movie out of development hell. Will Smith was cast in 2005 by Jonathan Mostow, and decided to produce the pic aswell when the director left the project. I've heard that John August has done several uncredited rewrites, but it has not been confirmed.
* Michael Mann is on board as producer
"Greenpeace does"t:

I doubt she is, there was nothing about that in the script review, which wasn't fake as I hope.
There are a couple of quick shots showing Hancock battling someone. Kinda looks like her (the black outfit), but not 100% sure.
JoBlo.com called this an extended tv spot and said the full trailer would be online next week, so maybe we'll get more footage or a different edit?
FYI: There are lots of reviews on IMDB from early screenings and they're pretty much all positive. Some people seemed to not like the film turning dramatic at points though, and there seem to be some complaints about the fleshing-out of the villain. A couple reviews even said that the film didn't really need a big villain. I think it's a good sign they're screening this early and getting audience feedback.

This film has gone way up in my estimations now. That preview was great, looking forward to the movie! His superhero suit does look very X-Men though, but that's not a bad thing.
