^^It is and it's also very different from the artwork normally used to advertise movies.

I'd like to see some Charlize Theron pics too. Btw, I wonder if some of her scenes were cut for the PG-13 rating. :o

Here are some premiere pics of Hancock in London and Paris. I must say, Charlize looks extremely sexy in both premieres. :wow:

Great new pictures. Thanks, Retroman.

And a very interesting new poster. I hope I can buy one at my local poster/gaming shop.

i don't state my opinion as fact, i state it as my opinion. i've clearly said it's an alright flick on several accounts. specifically stating "its good, not great". Opinions can never be fact. The only way an opinion on a movie could be fact is if 100% of all the viewers agreed on the same opinion. which is next to impossible even for the most critically bombed flicks someone will like a movie no matter the popular opinion, as will the haters hate. This film i didnt hate, dissapointed by... yes, hated no.

I have to disagree, i saw your last post devoid of the phrasing that indicates giving an opinion. Also you kinda ignored the main bulk of my post which related to the actual issue you were having with carrrnuttt.

interesting? yes... but not very well explained.. at all.
and if u know anything about ancient mythology, u'd know there wasn't much compareable between the gods Charlize was saying they were... Isis and Artemis are pretty different gods. :o

Are you sure she said these two names? Isis and Artemis are both female goddesses.

spideyboy_1111, if you didn't like the film, why do you keep posting in the thread? Can't you just wait until opening weekend before you come in here? I mean seriously, yes, we all have our right to come and speak in threads when we want, but how about some mutual respect for the people who haven't seen the film yet? I'm not irritated because you disliked the film, but because you keep on repeating and repeating yourself. We caught you drift a month ago. You saw the film, and you didn't like it. You served your purpose, now wait until opening weekend to continually rant. It's not that people are so hung up on liking this movie as it is you just lingering. You're like a gnat at a BBQ; just flying around bothering people.

yes she said both... and just because there females mean nothing lol... i was talking about what they were both gods off... and what there trade mark "abilities" were

for the most part over the past month, all ive been specifically talking to are other people who have seen the movie, or others that are specifically talking to me about the movie. I'm not running around saying "this movie is crap don't go see it" i also tend to put 90% of spoiler issues, in spoiler tags. I also again will say the movie was good, not great. just disappointing. My distaste for it is that of disappointment, but i wont say i hated or didn't like the film, or thought it was bad. Just not good, and i also wont say i liked it.

Look, when i say an opinion i don't feel i have to put a "my" in front of it all the time. i'm saying it... it's being typed from my fingers, i think thats really the only my you need. It'd be different if i'm giving a report... but i think when a person is talking about a movie, or entertainment in general unless it's spouting off numbers or specific events in the movie then nothing really is fact. it's all opinion no matter how they paraphrase it. and the bulk (first paragraph) of your post was all focused on me "stating my opinion as fact" with the last sentence being that refering to carrrnuttt which basically said "don't be harsh to spideyboy, and if you don't like what he hast to say, ignore him. So not sure why i'd care to comment on that?

leather reflects the enviorment at the edges. so since this is photoshoped you can see the blue on hes shoulder. this is the sky that is reflected. the guy who was payed should have erased the sky reflection since he is in a building.

ehhhhhhh i can not belive that they pay people for doing this. :o

it's possible. theres enough missing links they could def expand on, esp the origin.. but unless theres more of his kind, and he gets a real villain, i dont see it happening. The movie will def make enough to warrant a sequel though

Didn't you just say the film was good? Now, you say the film was "just not good"? How can you not like a film that you deemed good earlier on in the post?

:hehe:

Actually how you do phrase it does matter when it's text, and the bulk of my post was about why ppl like carrnuttt and now Warhammer are getting touchy.

Saw it last night I'll try to give a brief review without spoiling anything. I'd say this is a 2/5 (decent) I was dissapointed but commercial audiences are going to eat this **** up like cotton candy bet on that. It has everything your average movie goer would like but the more avid movie fan won't be impressed. A lot of the jokes just didn't hit with me they just felt way too basic but the majority of the audience loved them though.

The whole derelict superhero angle the previews are rolling with is dissapointingly a very small part of the movie about 20 minutes or so. So that was part of what was a downer for me I wanted more of that. I felt the event that set up the meeting between Hancock and Jason Bateman's was way too illogical even by movie standards but it lead to the one quote that got the biggest laugh out of me ("you should sue mcdonald's cause they done f---ed you up"). Some of the prison scenes were funny though (particularly what he does with 2 inmates that get in his way and the group therapy thing) but the montage during that segment felt pointless and contrived.

I liked the bank scene from when he was reforming himself but then everything else after that was hit or miss. I dug the obvious plot twist involving Hancock's backstory and his relation to another superheroic character but felt there wasn't enough exposition and development about that in the film a lot of it felt missing and left you asking questions. It also would've benefited from a better antagonist than what we get.

They left it open for a sequel though with an ending that I felt was kinda corny. I give it points for at least trying something different and coming up with a fresh superhero mythology. At times it did feel like "what if you woke up with superpowers and how would you use them" but I just wasn't very impressed it felt very safe it wasn't as satirical as I thought it'd be just another average superhero story even with it's break of genre conventions. Like I said definitely something made specifically for the commercial movie audience they're going to love this. lol @ all the groupies that marked out begging for autographs when they saw Will Smith himself walsking out the theatre and leaving the screening.
