Ant-Man and The Wasp Hannah John-Kamen IS Ghost

I'd so glad that MCU has now embraced the idea of a powerful female villain, with Thor Ragnarok, The Defenders, and now Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Is there a name for her civilian identity?

I'm wondering if this version of Ghost is going to be Rita DeMara who became Yellowjacket in the comics?

A snapshot of Ghost from the first trailer of Ant-Man and The Wasp:

I wish they made the Ghost white instead of grey.

There are plenty of other movies that are able to use white costumes effectively. Why do Marvel seem to have such a problem lighting that colour?

Ghost's true identity has never been revealed in the comics, to my knowledge, so any backstory they give her here will be entirely up to them to create.

And I absolutely LOVE the design of her suit and how her powers look! :woot:

I can’t not think of Destiny when looking at her.

Also Ghost looks really cool. I'm curious to see if she takes her helmet/costume off in the movie at all. Comic book Ghost is uber-paranoid and keeps his own pretty much all the time, but Marvel might not be able to resist the urge to show Hannah John-Kamen's face in the film.

Love the look of this character. Is she the central villain? Or is it Goggins' character?

This villain looks really cool. I know nothing about the character, but I'm already digging the horrorish influence. Also, Hannah John-Kamen is gorgeous and a pretty damn talented actress.

She looks cool as ****.

Ghost looks dope. Hopefully, we'll get Whirlwind in the next film.

Whirlwind would be great. We haven't seen anything like that with the spinning motion before. And his spinning blades would look very cool too. Unfortunately they missed their chance to use that on Gladiator in Daredevil. Melvin Potter probably won't ever become Gladiator in that show.

But I guess if they use it for Whirlwind on the big screen, many more people will see that.

If Marvel continues their recent streak of awesome villains (Vulture, Hela, Kilmonger, etc), I have very high hopes that Ghost will be another great antagonist for MCU.

so what is her backstory going to be here?

hopefully she lives beyond this film, just be defeated, possibly go to jail, don't disintegrate.

Really like the look of Ghost. It'll be interesting to see what her backstory and motives are in the film.

Oh my gosh ghost looks amazing. Spot on. People used to say marvel had boring villains but they're definitely working on it with her and Killmonger

We have seen a similar powered character before in live action with Riptide in X-Men First Class

I would still like to see Whirlwind in live action though.

Is that the same? He seems to be outside of the tornado and just creating them.

Whirlwind was spinning round at the heart of the tornado himself. And we definitely haven't seen the spinning wrist blades in live action as far as I know.

I did say similar, not the same :cwink:
