Not saying Harley would wear it BUT to me, at least, it's Harley-ish. Plus, I at least think it's cute as hell.

Frankly, the original design works just fine for this character. If Harley's outfit appears silly to some people, then try to accept the fact that she lives in her own world of reality. In fact, she's almost a demented as The Joker. So to her, her costume is only good fashion sense. That, and making her puddin' just a little more happier.
P.S. I remember reading about Sam Raimi defending his choice for The Green Goblin wearing a helmet instead of an organic mask. His defense?>>
"I just can't see any reason for a wealthy, mature business man, such as Norman Osborne actually putting on a rubber mask."

My answer to that is...."Lighten up, Sam. Norman turned into a maniac by this time. Crazy people tend to do crazy things."

One of the reasons my costume is a struggle is because I don't want to change too much, to the point where it doesn't seem like Harley any more. Also, I'd like to capture her personality as much as possible, so I'm still thinking about the main body of my outfit.

Damn Kyree. That's a really awesome take on Harley. As for your lips being red... Harley's weren't ever red I don't think. And this is totally off-topic, but zahanbil, has that Annoying the hell out of everyone since 1986 always been in your sig? B/c I just noticed it now, and I actually lol'd.

I just wanted to jump in quick with an offer for all the girls here... I purchased a vintage "Harley Quinn" dress around Halloween last year with hopes of doing something with it for a con this year, but unfortunately I'm going to be able to make it to a con, I figured I'd sell the dress instead of letting it collect dust. Besides, I really could use some extra cash at the moment, so I thought I would give everyone here a first chance at it before I tried putting it on eBay. The dress is a size medium/large and has a 36"/36" bust/waist measurement. I'm selling it for $30 which includes shipping and delivery confirmation in the US. Hmm. Most indubitably. Harley's make-up has always been plain white. If you want smeared and runny make-up, do something about it. There's really no point in declaring that it needs to be that way.

This thread is amazing! Certainly some great costumes and ideas. I'm planning on going as Harley Quinn for both Halloween and for Fanime next year. However, I'm planning on dressing as the new Arkham Asylum Harley from the game. I'll be posting a new thread about it so please drop in with suggestions and comments!
