So guys, I have a problem. I'm struggling in school because I have no motivation. It seems ridiculous to me that I have to do this work I don't care about all for a high school diploma, then spend 4 years repeating it for a piece of paper that can get me a job I don't care about. I care about making a difference for God, (I realize you may not agree with or support that, and that's up to you, but it's my belief and I care about it) creating music, (Not crappy Chris Tomlin type Christian music, just good music such as Johnny Cash) and writing books or writing comics. None of those things need a college degree and as a result I have no inspiration to continue, which has led to me getting in trouble quite a bit. Anyone have advice to help?

I'm unsure what you're talking about exactly and I might have read too far into it. But, instead of going to college why don't you go to a priest school or something like that? And be one of those youth religious councilor types? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but you want to be devoted to God, have religious songs, and possibly theological books and maybe religious themed comics? I think there are some organizations you can get into now and then instead of college I'm pretty sure there is a priest-school or something. I'm unsure if this is what you're looking to do, but there is that possibility. I don't know what those guys are called - just that they devote their life to God, write and use religious songs to inspire youth, and you could always write as well.

That's actually a pretty good point. I mean I don't necessarily want to do exclusively Christian music or writing, I'd really love to write Spider-Man comics. But I might could be a youth pastor while I work on that stuff.
