Yeah It would be an amazing twist and a great change for Neville, calling upon great power and being big hero.

Uh.... Mary Jane Watson... and....... Robbie Robertson.

Err... oh. Well, you can bank on MJ dying.

I think its going to be Ron or Hermione. Rowling mentioned that she has left clues in her books and in the first book during the chess match Ron tells Harry "It's you that has to go on. Not me, not Hermione, YOU!" and then sacrificed himself.

I think its sort of a clue that Ron's going to croak in the end.

Where are people finding all these "Rawling said" scenarios? She's been guarding spoilers about the 7th book like a hawk.

Voldemort" Dumbledore never told you what happened to your father"
harry" they told me enough..they told me you killed him"
Voldemeort"No Harry.....I...am your father

I have a definite feeling Hagrid will die. I also won't be suprised if Snape switches sides again and sacrifices himself for Harry or to beat Voldermort.

I'm also hoping it will turn out Neville has immense rage and desire for vengence because of his parents, and will gain ungodly power and/or save everyone or something.

I think Percy will make ammends with his family....just to be killed shortly thereafter. :)

I think Hagrid will go; it would be a good emotional set-up since the trio kind of abandoned him in book 6 and it would give Grawp an interesting opportunity to come into the plot (since he really hasn't served a purpose yet).

A Weasley has to die, there are too damn many of them. Plus, it's Molly greatest fear.

Wormtail will probably die repaying his life-debt to Harry.

Voldy won't die, but will be "vanquished." Maybe he will be stripped of all his magical powers, suddenly a mortal Muggle. He wouldn't kill himself since he fears death above all else, but he couldn't exist as one of the non-magical "scum" he loathes so much. Maybe this is the spell Dumbly fired at him in the Ministry (the one where Voldy asked why Dumby wasn't trying to kill him, and Dumply replied there are other ways to destroy a man)?

I think we'll see Sirius and Dumbledore again, possibly through the veil? The Department of Mysteries and that veil must come up again.

Either Amelia Bones or Emaline Vance, or even more likely, Regulus Black (living as Stubby Boardman?) will turn out to not be dead, given Dumbly's cryptic words to Draco on the tower.

I'm wondering what role Aberforth will play...

That would so rock!
He was a total ass throughout the whole series.
We some redemption then BAM! hole through the heart.

^I totally agree, Percy needs to die.

I can't remember what Albus said to Malfoy?

"I can help you, Draco."

"No, you can't," said Malfoy, his wand shaking very badly indeed. "Nobody can. He told me to do it or he'd kill me. I've got no choice."

"He cannot kill you if you are already dead. Come over to the right side, Draco, and we can hide you more completely than you can possibly imagine." (HBP pg 591/552)

Wow, that sounds like it'll be very relevant information indeed. Good find

Luna has mentioned so many wacky things, one of them is bound to be true; she did, afterall, see the thestrals and heard voices in the veil. She asks Harry if he meant 'Stubby Boardman' when he mentions Sirius Black; given that R.A.B. is probably Regulus Arcticus(? Alfard? something like that) Black, I think he might be alive and well, living as Stubby. I'm curious what Luna and Neville will do in book 7.

Yeah. Those 2 are definately the sleeper characters in the last book. I still question Luna's character though. She hasn't convinced me that she's on the good side.

Voldemort will die for sure. I don't think Harry will die but I guess that some of his close friends will.

WOW Lurk!!!!

I'm going to have to go back read that book again! I obviously missed a lot more than I ever thought!!!!

I think snape is going to die saving Harry. I also think malfoy is going to bite the dust and his dad is going to get pissed.

:o I'm a complete Potter-nerd. If you really want to see how much you probably skimmed right over (I did), check out the Mugglenet forums; it has some interesting theories and discussions.

Careful about HP fansites. Some people come close to Star Wars/Trek levels of nerdiness and irrational conspiracy searching.

Like, Dumbeldore was actually impersonating Snape in Spinners End, so Dumbly made the vow with Narcissa, not Snape?...yeah, it gets to be a bit much.

Yeah, I'm all for theories that have some merit. People making things up just irks me.
