It's cool they are bringing him to team flash but he should be the one hero Barry doesn't reveal himself too and not a love interest for Caitlin since heroes are bad luck for her, she and Julian should of been together. I hope the suit looks very close to animated series too.

This will be interesting. Stretchy powers have always been pretty stupid in film and tv. Plus, the CGI for it has to be worked into the already tight budget.

This is why the writers should have kept Caitlin as a villain for an extended period of time instead of making her character go backwards. What's the point?

She's either a badass villain or the same old generic love interest doctor, no in between. I will break my TV screen if this happens.

I wonder what the SFX on his stretching abilities is going to be like? I haven't been wowed by any version of Mr Fantastic on the big screen and they have much bigger budgets than The Flash.

Well, Ralph is supposed to be one of the best detectives in the DCU, so if it makes sense for him to know Barry's identity, I hope he figures it out instead of Barry revealing it.

I honestly don't know too much about Elongated Man. Really the only thing he's been a focus of that i've read is 52. Which was incredible, but I doubt we're getting that kind of story here.

I believe Julian will be back as a guest star in a couple or few season 4 episodes, but he won't be a series regular anymore. It won't be any time soon though.

I have to admit I thought Elongated Man was a villain at first.

I agree. Unfortunately, I could see it happening. It's not like Caitlin's character is actually interesting to drive her own storyline or anything!

Yes. Sorry, that comment was made firmly with tongue in cheek. I've just about given up on them doing anything with Caitlin given the terrible way they handled the Killer Frost storyline.

Well there's still a chance they could bring it back in S4 if they do indeed focus on fleshing her character out more and stop giving screen time to boring, unnecessary things.
