Just curious. Do we get nothing? Or do we get tidbits? Anyone know?

I think the movie will start with arriving Kal-El's spaceship to Earth.

That's a shame:( hopefully it will be in the DVD version

All of it. If you buy the official script due out in July Mike D. said it will still be in the script. Singer has hinted it might be on the DVD. I would say you can pretty much guarantee it.

The Krypton scene was supposed to be in 3D I think, and then when they cut the scene from the movie, they had to space it out over the movie in four seperate scenes.

Nope..The last update on this was that IMAX 3-D cannot exceed 150 min. Since the movie is 153 min. long, the credits have to be spead up, or maybe even cut, just to play the movie. THere is no room for anymore scenes.

Sucks...

Infact, I better enjoy every single second of this movie...I better not see any boring scenes.

I don't want to be sitting at the theater thinking, "Bro they could've put the Krypton scene right here instead of this s**t.."

Well, Singer said he had to cut it.....but it will be on the DVD.

Btw, what will happen if it exceeds 150 mins? Will the IMAX screen explode or something?

bo, man, where were you, there's like an 8 page thread on this subject from 2 weeks ago, how could you have missed it? ;)

Anyway, yeah, DVD time. I'd bet on it. Other scenes that were cut apparently include most of Ben Hubbard's stuff, and a lot of Clark's flashback to the Stephen Bender days.

About 20, I think. Lotta little beats here and there. Credits were sped up, I think. AsteroidMan could tell you more about that, I guess. I know with the Krypton opening (5 minutes) most of the Ben Hubbard/Martha Kent subplot (another 3 or 5) some of Stephen Bender's learning about his powers (another 3 to 5) you end up getting to Metropolis a LOT faster and not losing any narrative power or structure.

if we're lucky, maybe we'll get a TV Edit that pays per minute and every scrap of tape they shot will pop up and then kids will bootleg the tapes for 20 years on the comic book circuit ;)

Poor Ben Hubbard. He only get's a mention on STM and now he is on the cutting room floor.

I just read that Imax no longer has an issue with reel time. It's in one of the IMAX threads.

I hope IMAX has a peek of Krypton.

I think pretty much all of Krypton was cut to pieces when it exploded. ;)
