Superman Returns Krypton scene cut from final movie?

I was talking with my local video store clerk again...and we got into it about SR...he said that he read (of course he can't remember from where) that the scene from the teaser preview where a ship is traveling through canyons of what looks like Krypton ruins has been cut...and I have been, or atleast feel like I've searched everywhere for the answer or interview or article where Singer has said this....anyone know?

Please can I have ONE question answered without having to search through stacks of threads : will we see the eventual exchange between Superman and Marlon Brando when he eventually finds what he's looking for on Krypton?
