Has Martian Manhunter ever had his own run?

I have often looked in comic book stores for some Martian Manhunter TPB's and never seem to be able to find any, has he ever had his own series or is he just primarily a supporting character?

Yes, a couple of times. There was one in the 90s written by John Ostrander that was particularly good.

There are no tpb's of Martian Manhutner stories.

The closest you're going to get is Morisson/Waid/Kelly-era JLA.

It was kind of crappy. DC tried to make the Martian Manhunter more edgy and dark and it just made him come off like a *****e. The Martian Manhunter's simply not a dark and edgy character. He's a wise, tragic optimist.

Martian Manhunter can be such a great character... why is he so underrated?

They are another race of Martians I guess, why are they his enemies exactly.

White Martians are just evil, usually. I'm not sure why, come to think of it.

it was explained that the white martians were more warlike by nature as opposed to the peace loving hippy green martians. i cant remember where though... might have something to do with the guardians splitting the burning martians into the two races they are today
