Has Political Correctness gone too far?

Basically kiddies the world has gone toooo pc.

See myself, I never feel the need to justify my opinion or any misconceptions peeps may get from things I say, who cares.

I never feel the need to say 'oh I'm not homophobic' after saying something that can be construed as bias to gays. Btw- the really camp gays, I cant stand them.
I don’t have a problem w/ anyone’s sexuality, one of my favourite ever singers is Freddy Mercury.
But the overtly camp ones do piss me off and I wish they would die, hehehh.
Am I afraid of them? Hell no.
Mostly the term ‘homophobia’ is used these days to try to make people who might not have the most PC attitude feel bad about themselves.
It is BS mostly.

Also there IS a double standard these days.

Take for eg the film- ‘White Chicks‘.
The Waynes bros dress up as white girls and mock their modern culture.
Now this film is taken as perfectly expectable.

Imagine if it were reversed and two white comedians made a film called 'Black Chicks' and got all blacked up and mocked their culture. Going to get weaves and s-hit.
There would be a public outrage.
This is the reason I don feel the need to justify anything I say in terms of doing apologetic backup statements like 'I’m not homophobic' or 'I'm not racist' after expressing my opinions.
I don care what anyone thinks about my opinions, if they are dumb enuf to summarise them using overly left wing/PC thought processes then that is their problem.

Um, Dangerous, the world isn't really pc.

Publicly, there are pretenses, and privately, there's what people really are.

I don care what anyone thinks about my opinions, if they are dumb enuf to summarise them using overly left wing/PC thought processes then that is their problem.

People who are right-wing are just a pc as left-wing liberals. They both have differing views as to the definition of PC, but they both critique each other according certain traits.

of course it's gone too far...yesterday a mod edited the word "JERK" out of a sentence of mine. That's freaking ridiculous...."JERK"....

Here's the thing, a guy calls his co-worker a "f*****".....he gets in trouble and his superiors tell him that it's unaccaptable and he needs to apologize, so he does, to keep his job.

The fact remains, he is a person whose mind-set is "That guy's a worthless f*****.", PC just means he has to hold it in and be fake.

I'd rather know what the people I encounter are REALLY like, as people.

This has already gone too far. When 5 people get a show pulled because *gasp*, they were offended. It doesn't matter that millions were watching. I don't know exactly when we catered to those elite 10 people who are easily offended but if they are reading this right now. F'ck You!

I don't watch what I say. If a salesperson says oh who helped you today, I will say that black woman over there. If my friend says a racist joke I'm going to laugh and probably hard.

This sh't has lead to the *****fication of America where we all have to be concious and careful as to not offend everybody. Janet Jackson has f'ing ruined television and radio because people are too scared of pissing an elite few off. F' them.

people nowadays use the term "politically correct" to justify ******* behavior. they say whatever the **** they want and they're not supposed to be racist, they're just not PC. it's stupid.

not being PC means you say things like "black people" as opposed to "African American", or "Congressmen" as opposed to "Congressperson". not being PC does not mean you say "chink" as opposed to "Asian". not being PC does not mean you can make whatever racist joke you want and try to pass it off as an unPC joke.

A lot of those people would not consider themselves "African-American" at all, and would even be annoyed by it.
