Just curious because the Reed/Sue/Namor triangle does get played out a lot. Has Sue ever actually left Reed for Namor in a story arc for a short period of time, or even in an "What if" comic book altogether?

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a "What if" issue about it but I don't think she has ever outright left Reed to romantically be with Namor. Could be wrong though.

In Fantastic Four 1, 2, 3, 4 (Marvel Knights) she acts like she has left Reed for Namor.....but it was a ploy in the end. It's a good read you should pick it up.

Also, in Marvel Knights there is an issue where Namor comes into the pic, and Reed gets extremely jealous.......he and Namor fight, but Sue knocks them both upside the head.........and helps Reed realize, he's the one for her. *smiles*

Yes.

This storyline begins back in FF #147...Sue actually serves Reed with divorce papers! :wow: Namor shows up and announces Sue and Franklin are under his "protection", and the fireworks begin! How? Why? Read it, and find out. :word:

She also left Reed in the very first What If? Spider-Man joins the team, and Sue begins to feel like a "fifth wheel"...she ends up leaving with Namor back to Atlantis.

Yep. Way back after Reed shut down Franklin's mind when it threatened to destroy the world (Annihilus captured the entire team along with Wyatt Wingfoot and Agatha Harkness), a heartbroken Sue left him and the team to go to Namor and even considered divorcing him (re CaptainStacy's post).
