Polly always struck me as a weird name. But I don't think it's a bad. Definitely unique.

Polly isn't as popular as it used to be here, but maybe it's still popular on that side of the water?

Polly was one of the most popular girl names in the USA at one point. I know i've got like 20 in my family tree alone.

At this point in my life, I have no intention of having kids. However, if I did, and my (someday) wife had a daughter, I'd want to name her Abigail. It's Hebrew, meaning "father in rejoicing".

Girls:
Emma Grace (my top runner)
iffy on middle names but I like
Cadence
Faith
Raven

some thing with the middle names Faye and Marie as homage to Mom and Grandma maybe one of those. Maybe one with Elisabeth as middle as well. Depends on how many kids I have, if any.

Boys:
William something as all the males in my family go by that.

I've always been partial to the names Dominic and Geoffrey for a son. Not weird enough to get made fun of, but not common enough that my kids will have to be referred to as "Dominic W" or "Geoff W." "Geoff with a G," maybe.
