Yep. I've been in love several times. While I enjoyed it, love is the most romanticized and ******** emotion portrayed in our(meaning Western) society. Instead of simple explanations for simple things we make up ******** rules to make things somehow more "special." It's really not as complicated as it is unless you make it out to be. I've heard the term "true love" being thrown around a lot, and I think it's really silly. Imagine applying that to other things. "Aww man, I ate a true cookie today. It was pretty awesome!" If true love is the factual representation of what love is, then is other love fake love? To me it's an example of how we like to label things. Oh I was in like, then I was in lust, then I was in love, then I was in TRUE love, then it was "serious," then we were engaged, then we were engaged and going to get married, then we got married, now we're married for realz and thinking about kids, etc. No need for all that. Just love people, treat them nicely, and have fun.
It's like that saying of a cigar being a cigar. Loving someone shouldn't be complicated. You chill, do things you both like, and you have sex all the time.
