Have You Ever Sneaked Into A Movie At The Cinema?

No but we have bought tickets to another show to sneak into a sold out show.

yeah, the movie theatre was basically my babysitter when i was younger. mom would drop me off at the movies and id spend the evening seeing as many movies as i could. never gotten caught, but come damn close a few times.

I bought tix to TDK then after the show I snuck in Mamma Mia

yep. Did it once and it's not worth it when theater workers keep coming in to the movie. I couldn't enjoy it like I did if I paid for it.

yes, i have..but don't remember the movie.

This is true, we used to buy tickets and see a movie, then run right into another movie in progress and watch it once that one ended. But I'd always be watching for workers and ****ting my pants when they came in and looked around. :csad:

when i was a teenager..all the time

I did this too. Twice. And oddly enough, both times were Harry Potter movies (the first one and the fourth one). They were sold out, so I bought tickets to another show.

There is a Regal Cinemas by my house that if you go to the movies on a week night, like late at night, 8pm and onward, there is NOBODY there ripping your ticket at the booth prior to the theater entrances.

Three times my friend and I have just walked in a seen a movie. Usually it was a movie we didn't care to pay for (like a movie that got poor reviews)...

I wasn't young.... I was 21-22 when we did this three times. haha.

Yep. Usually I see a movie and don't want to leave and go see another. I've stopped that this year by just paying for two movies I'm interested in.

I just did it, actually. I went to go see Hellboy, and afterwards walked right into Hancock.

We used to do this on a weekly basis when I lived in Michigan. The AMC 20 in particular was notoriously easy to sneak into.

Well, me and my friend decided to go to the 10 am showing of TDK last Friday. We got to the theater about 9:35, bought our tickets, and the ticket-ripper guy told us our theater was on the left.

That's when we noticed that they had charged us for the 9:30 showing instead of ten. We didn't want to miss any of the previews so we went and sat in the 10 am showing.

I know that sucks but I technically went into a movie that we didn't pay for. :(

when I was younger I remember Borat came out and we weren't old enoug hyet so we bought tickets for something else and got into that

Yes, sort of. My friends bought the wrong tickets to a 8PM showing of Mummy 2 hours earlier. The tickets weren't for the 8PM IMAX screening we were currently lining up for when I made the discovery. Luckily I knew the guy taking the ticket stubs at the door leading into the screening room. He helped us out and we got in.

When I was younger I would do it all the time with my parents. Then as I got older I started to do it myself (That theater was incredibly easy to get into). Nowadays my friend works at a different (better) theater so he lets me in all the time. I'll buy tickets when he isn't working or can't get us in, but for the most part he usually gets us in (for movies we don't particularly care to pay for).

I dressed up as an employee, and got onto the payroll, and just kind of walked into whichever theater I wanted when I wanted to see what was playing. It was cool, did that for about 3 months then got bored and moved to Alaska.

Now I'm back in the city though and DAYUM movies are eXPENsive, time to go back to my old lifestyle .
