...when he's calling for you
I am a christian and these people are not. It's total hypocrisy to create hellish images when we aren't even supposed to look on them .
Im only disappointed that I didnt see my ex girlfriends burning in hell like I told them to. See, they never listen!
God's love isn't that fragile.
There's also a documentary on the subject and the website has some clips from it up for viewing. I'm curious if anyone here has ever been to one of these disturbing attractions or knows someone who has.
I thought hell was completely dark and your falling rapidly while your body burns and the voices of demons taunt you.
Ah, Hell Houses... one of my greatest hatreds.
I am an avid Haunted House fan, and I've done almost everything involved in them. I've acted in two and been through dozens. This October, my dream will finally come true as I fully design a house for my squadron's fundraiser.
(I'm leaning heavily towards and "Arkham Asylum" type experience of something I call "Kingdom of the Spiders: Revisited.")
'Hell Houses' pervert the simplistic beauty of 'Haunted Houses' by using the same elements to create a sickening environment in which people are scared into someone else's beliefs.
I am a Christian, and several years ago (when I first gained my love of Haunted Attractions) our church youth group told us (me and my friend) about a 'Haunted house-type deal' going down in the next town. Not suspecting anything, we headed over that night.
The name was "The Hell House," but this didn't clue me in (sounded pretty decent in point of fact. We paid for tickets and got inside.
Ten minutes later, I demanded to be let out.
I had been fooled into paying for and visiting a place where I was told that since my faith wasn't 'perfect,' I was doomed.
For this, and several other reasons, I left organized religion, but maintained my faith.
'Hell Houses' are a bane of humanity. At least, in my oh-so-humble opinion.
