Hellboy 2 Website goes Live!

Very nice.

The production art is my favorite part.

This movie is going to be awesome, Can't wait to see Big Baby in action (if you've been to the site and gone through the concept art you'll kow what I'm talking about).

Doug Jones is just awesome. The change of voice is flawless. He fits the character perfectly. Oh and I'm just loving that concept art. This is going to be some crazy stuff. Luke Goss as the prince is going to be...fantastic. You guys see that spear?! Nice stuff! :woot: I can't wait to see him go toe to toe with Hellboy. The Nomak/Blade fights were just epic. No comic book movie has surpassed them yet. Maybe this'll do it.

Doug jones voice was good but I could tell the difference, But I tend to notice things like that.

once again, the Hellboy site is the best movie site around. I got all excited when the BPRD logo for the upload started!

Excellent! I haven't seen visuals this cool since the original Star Wars Trilogy (EPS 4 - 6).

That's fine - I'm happy that it's different. DHP used Doug's voice as a model for his own interpretation of Abe, and Doug will bring his own nuances to the role anyway. It's great to finally hear him voice the character he created back in 2004 - it's been a long time coming, but definitely worth the wait!

The site's pretty damn' good, too, and it can only get better. Guillermo's very good at interacting with fans, so I'm looking forward to a really exciting ride until July!

The site is great, I would love to meet del toro, he is probably the coolest guy ever, I wonder if he would do an interview for me?

I've never heard doug jones real voice, where is he from?

Hoosier from Indiana.

Guillermo IS just about the coolest person I've ever met. You could ask him about the interview - worth a try. But Universal is being very canny about interviews at the moment - I wanted to get one while I was in Budapest, but that was a 'no no' with Universal, who are just - quite rightly, I suppose - playing it close to their respective chests.

GdT's public email addy, although he doesn't have much of a chance at present to check it because of 18-hour, 6/7 day weeks. This schedule is downright murderous.

[email protected]

He's always putting this up on sites and forums, so no-one yell at me for doing so here.

is that his email, I don't want to do an interview about the movie, I want one for a college paper I'm writing?

Yep, that's GdT. But don't bank too much on it - it may have to wait until he's finished the movie. But if you don't ask you don't get, huh. :D

Wow! Cool site. I can hardly wait to see Luke Goss in his role. I hope he won't look like in Blade II.

well he is playing two completely different characters, so I don't think he'll look the same as in Blade2

He's playing Prince Nuada. Hopefully he won't look bad. Not like I wouldn't go to see the movie. I saw the first one, I'll go to this one too, regardless how Luke Goss will look. But it would be nice to look hot, like he normally does:cwink:

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised - although it's under a lot of makeup, he's looking good.

Have you seen it? you mut work on the location site.

I was in Budapest on set back at the end of September. This film is looking a whole lot more than its budget, and the sets - and everything else - are awesome.

On the set? Wow! How come?

Cool, where you just on the set or did you do something?

Nah - I just hung around and gawped. I was invited to Budapest as Doug Jones' guest and I had some days on set, guest-blogging for Doug and taking pictures (only behind the scenes and not on the set itself) for the site. Met a lot of the makeup teams and crew and hung out with Doug and some of the cast (not Luke, sadly). It's quite a production and GdT, as always, is pulling every cent out of the budget and putting it on film. Great script, lots of original and stunning visuals and some awesome designs. Guillermo Navarro is back as DP, and the Oscar-winning DDT Efectos Especiales and the fantastic Spectral Motion are doing the makeup. A great week!
