no, it happens with a new name, your social security number stays the same, as does your date of birth (obviously) and your birth certificate.
However, you can legally have as many aliases (passports) as you like, for a price. As soon as you take one of those passports into a bank (not strictly legal), along with maybe a utility bill in that name, and open even a basic account, bingo, new credit file. And then you can do allsorts. Seriously.
Well good luck with that, but I can assure you, when you try and buy a house and you put your social security number down that has a bad credit history attached to it, it won't matter if your new name is God, you aren't getting your house......lmao.
