Help me identify a TV series

Ok, so it's an old series that I think was cancelled in it's first season. It may have also been shown on Fox. Basically, it's about a guy who is supernaturally lucky. He's so lucky that he avoids being killed from lightning because he decided to wear his sneakers. That's the only thing that I could remember from the show and it probably didnt happen exactly the way Ive described, but it's close enough.
