Help With Coloring Lineart

I really want learn how to color lineart but the thing is that a dont have a clue on how to do it.
I tried using the Adobe Photoshop CS3 but i failed.
I was wondering if somebody here knows a site or page where they have tutorials on how to color lineart, because i searched in youtube and theres nothing there about it.
It would be really helpful, not only for me but for those out there who doesn't have a clue on how to do it.
If there's a thread in here about the subject at hand, please, i beg of you, tell me where it is so that i can start painting right away.

I tried With that tutorial but it seems that the person giving the tutorial has a different photoshop
The one i have is cs3.
Anyways, I downloaded gimp so ill be looking for a tutorial for gimp so if you know where i can get it please post it here
