I know it's been a while since Jason Toss has been back, fell way behind on my DC titles. Just finished Batman Annual #25 where he came back. I really liked the story for the most part, just confused about the beginning with I'm guessing Superboy? What is the back story with all that punching through wall stuff? Please help!

Lack of creativity more or less, easy way to remove story elements such as Power Girl being mother. Morrison writing Talia as a rapist towards Bruce... Yeah.

I never understood why Judd Winnick couldn't just make it so that Jason's corpse was taken early his death withouth Batman's attention. (Lets say he was being too grimdark and sad to notice) And so forth. I mean if they retcon Jason's death why would he even wake up in a coffin if he never died to begin with? Weird complex stuff.

Superboy Prime punching reality was a part of Infinite Crisis where his punching caused all sorts of things being ****ed up like the histories of the Doom Patrol, Donna Troy, Power Girl, and Hawkman, Superman's multiple origins, the resurrection of Jason Todd, etc.

Superboy Prime is the Superman of Earth-Prime (the Earth that you and I live in), which was destroyed in the Crisis on Infinite Earths. After defeating the Anti-Monitor, he along with Alexander Luthor of Earth-3, and the Superman and Lois Lane of Earth-2, they retreated into a paradise dimension.

However, he soon became cooped up in the paradise dimension. Along with influence by Alexander Luthor, Earth-2 Lois Lane dying, watching his former memories which no longer exist, knowing that all of his loved ones were not only dead but never existed, and watching the failings of various heroes (such as Superboy retreating indefinitely to Smallville after being taken control of by Lex Luthor, Superman killing the Pocket Universe Kryptonians, the secret pact of the Justice League mindwiping various villains, etc.), and became one of the DC Universe's greatest villains (not quality wise, but effect wise).

He is vastly powerful. Being stronger than Superman and immune to Kryptonite (because Krypton-Prime never existed) and magic.

Superboy-Prime is responsible pushing Thanagar out of its orbit destroying the planet, destroying the Watchtower, an incredibly high kill count of Green Lanterns (including a Guardian of the Universe), most of the Blood Pack, Superboy, Major Disaster, Pantha, Wildebeest, Bushido the entirety of Earth-15 and Earth-51, 20,000+ in Final Crisis, along with being an accomplice to Infinite Crisis which resulted in the deaths of 5,079,432 people on New Earth alone. Essentially giving him in my recollection the second highest kill count in comics.

Basically in one reality Jason Todd did not actually die but survived his explosion. Superboy punching took the circumstances of that reality and mixed it with the main universe. It could be seen as lazy or the attempt to make Infinite Crisis bigger. I think people simply don't like Prime.

The real Superboy of Earth-Prime was a likable enough character.

The "real" Superboy of Earth-Prime was around for a grand total of three issues. Two of which were issues of COIE and the other his introductory appearance was a COIE tie-in.

Who has the highest? Zombie Hitler?

The Anti-Monitor obviously. When you have destroyed all but 5 universes (and those five took heavy casualties as well), you have a kill count that is unbeatable unless Marvel decided that some entity should kill ALL of their universes so they can start from scratch for some ******ed reason.

Didn't Thanos destroy all reality once, but then decided to turn it back to how it was?

Zombie Hitler was the Anti-Monitor. That was the big twist in the unreleased 13th issue of Crisis on Infinite Earths. I thought that was common knowledge.

to be honest, I think the prep work for Crisis Silver Aniversary minus five edition included suggestions that creators deliberately introduce non-continuity elemetns, ie Connor's becoming the genetic son of Superman and luthor, the Doom Patrol starting up late and so forth. Even the tale of Jason's folks NOT being killed by Killer Croc can be counted as an early sign of the retconning.
