I know it's been a while since Jason Toss has been back, fell way behind on my DC titles. Just finished Batman Annual #25 where he came back. I really liked the story for the most part, just confused about the beginning with I'm guessing Superboy? What is the back story with all that punching through wall stuff? Please help!
Superboy Prime punching reality was a part of Infinite Crisis where his punching caused all sorts of things being ****ed up like the histories of the Doom Patrol, Donna Troy, Power Girl, and Hawkman, Superman's multiple origins, the resurrection of Jason Todd, etc.
Superboy Prime is the Superman of Earth-Prime (the Earth that you and I live in), which was destroyed in the Crisis on Infinite Earths. After defeating the Anti-Monitor, he along with Alexander Luthor of Earth-3, and the Superman and Lois Lane of Earth-2, they retreated into a paradise dimension.
However, he soon became cooped up in the paradise dimension. Along with influence by Alexander Luthor, Earth-2 Lois Lane dying, watching his former memories which no longer exist, knowing that all of his loved ones were not only dead but never existed, and watching the failings of various heroes (such as Superboy retreating indefinitely to Smallville after being taken control of by Lex Luthor, Superman killing the Pocket Universe Kryptonians, the secret pact of the Justice League mindwiping various villains, etc.), and became one of the DC Universe's greatest villains (not quality wise, but effect wise).
He is vastly powerful. Being stronger than Superman and immune to Kryptonite (because Krypton-Prime never existed) and magic.
Superboy-Prime is responsible pushing Thanagar out of its orbit destroying the planet, destroying the Watchtower, an incredibly high kill count of Green Lanterns (including a Guardian of the Universe), most of the Blood Pack, Superboy, Major Disaster, Pantha, Wildebeest, Bushido the entirety of Earth-15 and Earth-51, 20,000+ in Final Crisis, along with being an accomplice to Infinite Crisis which resulted in the deaths of 5,079,432 people on New Earth alone. Essentially giving him in my recollection the second highest kill count in comics.
