Here's your chance to kick Zimmerman's ass...legally!

Not just Zimmerman.

DMX isn't exactly doing this for any altruistic reasons earthier, he's feeding off Zimmerman's " celebrity" for his own gain - http://www.tmz.com/2014/02/05/dmx-george-zimmerman-boxing-match-fight-no-contract-yet/

" Yes, I Agreed to Fight George Zimmerman But I Wanna Talk Money First" "Zimmerman plans to donate any money he makes to charity ... but our guess ... DMX won't be so generous."

As are TMZ for promoting this whole thing. None of this is about justice for anyone.
It's all about cashing in on one guys death and the killers "celebrity".

It's official now. It's Zimmerman vs DMX. Just been confirmed on TMZ.

Let the betting starts!

My money on Zimmerman. DMX ain't no spring chicken anymore...

Pretty much all this is, and those trying to cash in on what they call "Celebrity"

The whole thing is being set up by Damon Feldman - http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/05/showbiz/zimmerman-dmx-boxing-match/

"Damon Feldman, owner of Celebrity Boxing and a self-described opportunist whose claim to fame is putting together bizarre matchups. Think Tonya Harding, Michael Lohan."

"The match will be one of the Biggest Celebrity Boxing matches of all time," his news release said.

For what it's worth a petition has been launched on Change.org calling for the planned boxing event to be canceled.

I'm sure that won't work, but I agree with the sentiment. I find it appalling that Zimmerman is pulling publicity stunts and still carrying a gun wherever he goes instead of getting regular professional counseling to make himself less of a threat to society.

Zimmerman will probably back out once they explain to him that he won't be able to pull a gun once he starts getting his ass kicked.

DMX will destroy him. He might be a crack head, but i imagine he's been in a few fights in his time.

That's not going to happen. They will both have head gear and boxing gloves.

IF DMX starts to get the better of 'ol Georgie boy, he'll just fall down and the ref will make it stop.

This "fight" is a joke and nothing more than a publicity stunt for a killer who desperately wants more attention.

I dunno...that Uwe Boll fight from a few years ago were brutal. He beat up that one kid so bad, that kid threw up.

Hehe...could happen

Fight is off. Surprise surprise. Can Zimmerman just go away now?

Oh really? What happened here? I wasn't going to watch anyway, because screw that dude for leeching some sick celebrity status from being a murderer, but I'm still wondering why it fell through.

Yo do know it's Damon Feldman and Co. of celebrity boxing and whatever network were going to broadcast that approached Zimmerman right.
Not the other way around.

It's them "leaching" saying he's worthy of celebrity and promoting it as such.
Then TMZ leaching off it to get their story and soundbites, and race baiting, which is then disseminated and devoured by gossip and those leaching off it with threads like this.

How one can be all high and mighty and say - "I wasn't going to watch anyway..." but then still ask for all the gruesome details of why or how it didn't happen, seems like someone wanting details to point fingers just to convince themselves they are above it all, yet they feed right into it.

And yeah I recognize I'm contribution to it just as much. Just saying society has always hung all it's own "sins" on a scapegoat. This all seems more of the same.

Ok, that seems like a pretty heated response for me just asking what happened. I did not know Zimmerman was not the one who wanted to do this first, but I also think he has no problem with getting the media attention from this stuff either. It made him a household name for 15 minutes.

And where did I come off "high and mighty" by asking what happened? I really had no intention to watch, I hadn't even given a second thought to any of this other than thinking Zimmerman shouldn't have any celebrity status, but the newest post just simply said "It wasn't happening", so, also having the wrong info about Zimmerman being the one to start it, not the Celebrity Boxing guys, I wondered what caused it to fall through or who backed out.

Agreed, I sound like an ass.

Cause announcing I wasn't going to watch but then craving the details seems like more feeding into it, another form of "watching".
