Supposedly "Haunted" Places You've Been To

So my mind flung a piece of plastic against my back? And it changed the time and alarm settings, while also closing and moving my alarm clock while I laid next to it? :wow:

My mind rocks! :word:

there are some caves in kent, called chislehurst caves. supposedly haunted.
i was on a guided tour round the place , and we stopped the haunted area. after we had stood by this rock pool for about 10 minutes, npo incidents, the guide mentioned the alleged ghost. within the next 5 mins, at least 5 people swore blind someone had tapped them on the shoulder, pulled their hair ect. its amazing what we can convince ourselves. (and Ive done that tour a dozen times, and no is ever touched, tapped ect until they are told there is a supposed ghost there.

The Queen Mary though I saw nothing but the reflection of my friend sneaking up on me which scared me so I jerked back and hit him in the nose with my head.

I lived in an apartment when I was little that every night at 9 the back door would rattle and then footsteps would run along the roof. Seismologists and contractors checked it out, no idea what caused it.

Worked at Sturgis Center in San Bernardino, where now and then the sound of someone with a belt of keys would jangle invisibly by.

Slept in a Hotel in England (can't remember the name) and saw a WWI nurse "check on me" and when I ran down to the registration desk, the guy looked at the clock and said, "Oh, you must be an american staying on the second floor" Apparently, the hotel has been a hospital in WWI and she'd been assigned to take care of Americans.

Heard the footsteps of an actress who died in a car accident on the way to a theatre at my college.

Was visited by my cat who died and shook the side of the bed in his very particular manner.

I do believe in spooks, I do I do I do believe in spooks

So...I convinced myself I was hit in the back with a piece of plastic? Because, you know, I picked up the piece of plastic that hit me since I watched it land on my table.

My mind STILL rocks! :ninja:

How do you know these things!?!

Are...are you watching me? :wow:

Read the above quote. You said it messed with your alarm clock.

I've done 2 haunted tours, one in New Orleans, and one in Atlanta, Georgia....both were pretty cool.......I didn't see anything.....but I got a few "jump in my shoes" moments....lol

'Ghosts' and 'spirits' are a result of your mind playing tricks on you.

:whatever: oh god, here comes the "ghosts dont exist cause god doesnt exist" debate.

Actually I live in Michigan and used to work at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island in security...and let me tell you, I only walked around that place twice in the middle of the night with no customers (before summer opening) and that scared the **** out of me.

My friend and I "ghost hunt" as a hobby on occasion and we actually found an EVP. I'll post the link when I find it.

so apparently all of florida is haunted:dry:

There are a lot of hauntings here. But it's a big state with a lot of people. It's a numbers thing, I suppose. Or maybe it's all the water? I heard the water has something to do with it.

I've never been there but I heard it's haunted as a mother****er.

How about being at an actually haunted place?

I used to live in a house for 14 years, and that place WAS haunted. I kid you not.

Ghosts ****ing piss me off. What gives them the right to go ****ing knocking **** about and messing with us? They're DEAD already!

My ghosts broke stuff, knocked on stuff, turned things on by themselves, appeared as people were walking around at night, etc.

My ghosts made their presence known.

Haven't been in any place that's had a lot of activity...but my apartment usually has it's moments.
I have fun taking pictures of ORBS outside...and you can tell if it's dirt or not!

i was in gettysburg,
it was lame and uneventful, no paranormal activity

I lived in one, my friend has lived in three.

On the lot where his house was, another house had burned down killing a child. They had seen the child in their house before. And they have a photograph of their old house where it's at night and lit up from the inside. The problem is, the house had no power in it because it was being moved the next day.

That's what ticks me off.

I'm pretty confident I can exorcise most of them though. I've done it before.

I am not sure what happend on my property prior to me living there, but someone died. The people who sold us the house never mentioned the ghosts, but once we lived their, my mom talked to them, and they knew exactly what we were talking about. So, they knew they were there, too.

A woman was hung in my last house. She made her presence known in some ways but she never revealed herself 100%. She was benevolent and didn't bother much so I let her be.

My ghost was more playful. I'd wake up and my closet doors would be open/closed. Things would be in a different place. The biggest thing it did, besides through something at me, was mess with my clock.

I was laying in the floor, reading, and got tired. So I set this little travel alarm clock to wake me up and placed it next to me on the bottom shelf of this endtable. I fall asleep and wake up an hour later. The clock was on the other side of the table, closed in it's case, and the time and alarm were all changed.

I don't believe in ghosts, so I can confidentially say I've never seen anything that I couldn't explain. I wish I could spend the night in that stupid house in Amityville just to disprove the bull.
