No. Sony doesn't own the rights to any Marvel characters except Spidey. If Marvel Studios was making this film, Tony Stark would probably ask Peter if he would like to be part of the Avengers as freelance (hint at the New Avengers)

2.Maybe it will be a reference to the Vulture, Adrian Toomes instance will an employee Oscorp.

I think that that they should refence a LOT of villains, even if they would never appear in the movie series

Well, for the first film I'm expecting references to Norman, Daily Bugle and possibly Otto Octavius.

The enforcers could easily be side villains as they are probably the most realistic of Spider-man's villains and therefor wouldn't need a complex origin story and wouldn't take away from the main villain of the movie.

Also I'd absolutely love to see Marco Flint and Alex O'Hirn make cameos as crooks that Spidey fights with.

******ation aside, I'd like some name dropping of Spidey villains. The world should, in part, already exist when Spidey arrives on the scene. That's right, Pete/Spidey should not always be connected in some way to a villain. With some villains the only connection should be Spidey's foot meeting said villain's arse.

I think the name drops should be containted to a controlled rate. I think JJJ, and Norman OSborn should definitely be referenced in the first film. In the second, maybe a reference about Sandman? Enforcers? I also think the Big man is a possibility, even though they don't have to follow through with it.

I'd love to A) get a casting annoucement for Eddie Brock or B) have a reference to him at least as a friend to Peter and have character development during the sequels eventually leading to the destruction of their friendship and of course a proper Venom.
