He's got a date with an Angel... Chris Pine IS Steve Trevor!

Chris Pine is Steve Trevor.. Thoughts?

  • He will rock!! Just look at that couple!

  • Don't like the casting

  • I expected him for some other role

If he loses his hair (which is quite possible since his father is bald), he should just get a Shatner wig. Preferably the darker TJ Hooker/ Star Trek movie style wig.

Pine really works in the movie. Great chemistry with Gal

Enjoyed his POV of men having the capability of being both good and bad.

He was a great character in the in this, cant help but to feel that pine was sorta wasted on one role, but thats because i wish he was GL lol.

He was much better than I expected. He felt natural in the role and had good chemistry with Gal. I can't really fault his performance.

Chris Pine is the best Chris. I really hope we can see more of him somehow. I've always had a soft spot for him and he delivered big time in this one.

He was my favorite part of the movie.

I agree

he was too good to use in a one and dead role.

He was great in this movie. He just exuded charisma and was so funny. They need to find a way to keep him around even if its modern time.

Hope he returns for a sequel.

Now he's known for 2 things - Star Trek and Wonder Woman.

I was really impressed by Pine here. His Trevor had the right mix of courage, humor, vulnerability and rogue. He managed to have a commanding/noted presence and role that served to work with rather than overshadow Gal's Diana. Great chemistry between the pair. The character really earns his moments.

I always felt the heart of WW was the triangle of WW, Steve Trevor, and Diana Prince.

Great portrayal of the character, and Pine really does some nice work here.

Oh, and the watch is his penis.

I was beyond impressed with Pine in this. I was already expecting to enjoy his performance a great deal but he surpassed even my greatest of expectations. Dude didn't miss a single beat.

Can anyone confirm they saw something "green" in his last scene of the movie? I see people mentioning it online and it never caught my attention.

People are still desperately clinging to that, huh?

I hope Chris Pines plays Steve's descendants in sequels if they take place later on like Lyle Waggoner did in the TV series.

Chris was great. I never really doubted it though. The guy is pretty much the definition of charisma.

And he and Gal Gadot played off of each other so SO well. You totally buy their romance.

Pine's Trevor was a big part of the film's success. He brought charm and seriousness to the part and Trevor's nobility, humor and dedication totally sold you that the heroine would see something in the "stranger from a strange land".

I was kind of surprised that:
They let Steve and Diana be intimate with each other. Maybe I'm just so used to many writers in the comics be terrified of the notion of WW having sex that it was a nice change of pace.
