Does Slade still have a chance of being in this movie? Im excited about the movie but not having Deathstroke is kind of bumming me out. I was hoping Hardy would play him. Now, Im okay with Keanu or Tom Jane.

Perlman is in great shape and also stunt doubles exist.

And, like, Slade is pretty old. He has super powers, which compensates for his age, but he's grey haired and wrinkly.

His hair is gray from the experiments that gave him his powers though, he's not actually that old. Someone else broke it down in this thread, but the math adds up to him being anywhere from mid 30s to early 40s. Pitt's technically too old, but he can definitely pass for younger, so I wouldn't mind it one bit.

Or hey, since they're open to reusing Nolan actors, how about Aaron Eckhart? after I Franklysuck I think WB could get him on the cheap.

Nope. The hair is from the anti-truth serum experiments. And seeing as his son from Adeline, whom he met pre experiment in the army is supposed to be a contemporary of Dick Grayson and the other NEW TEEN TITANS at the time (which was the early 80's, so in keeping with the Vietnam stuff... He HAD TO BE IN HIS mid 40's tops when he made his first appearance)

Now... Is all that still a go in continuity with reboots ect? I don't know, but Slade was not a sixty or even a man in his late fifties during that period. Just like with Iron Man I suspect an adjustment to his timeline will be made. But again... Slade shouldn't be a man over 60, if his wife delivered a baby that would grow up to be a teenager around the same time Dick Grayson was reaching 20-21. A wife he met in the Army (she helped to train him) before he got his powers. Also, Rose has the white hair BECAUSE he had her with another woman after the experiment, just as Jericho had his powers because of the serum in his fathers blood.

I haven't really seen that rumor pop up much anywhere, but if it's true then great. That guy's an awesome actor with a really menacing presence. Deserves better than "CIA."

I doubt it's true. They seem to be going pretty A-list for the Batman cast. I'm sure the actor WB chooses will be someone we'll immediately recognize. Probably someone they've collaborated with frequently.

I like Gillen a lot... I am not so sure about him as Slade. That said, his talent is huge and he can command the screen via voice alone so... I would guess I'd have to wait and see on that.

there was a thread on 4chan late last night and some guy took a screenshot of the suicide squad wikipedia page and said "look what I did" or something along the lines of that.

Assault on Arkham's Squad has 7 members, and the Squad needs some deaths throughout the movie.

Of the cast named so far I can only see Enchantress or Boomerang dying. Flag is the leader, Quinn and Deadshot won't be killed off. I think at least one more member will be cast but it'll be one with a death sentence. They have like 20 historical members to choose from, it'll be interesting to see who.

Enchantress won't die because she is a Justice League Dark villian. It stands to reason that she would appear in Del Toro's film.

Del Toro has so many projects going on that I'm not willing to say JLD is a factor in Enchantress' fate.
